Frontier has announced Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin, a new AAA real-time strategy game set in Games Workshop’s fantasy universe. It will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
Realms of Ruin will feature both a story-driven single player campaign and PvP multiplayer modes, with support for 1v1 and 2v2 cross-platform matches. There will be four playable factions, and the cinematic announcement trailer reveals the first two of them: the Stormcast Eternals and the Orruk Kruleboyz. For anyone not fully familiar with the lexicon of the Age of Sigmar universe, that means thunder-powered humans versus cunning orcs.

Konami has explained the meaning of the mysterious Δ symbol embedded in the title of Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake, which was revealed during last night’s PlayStation Showcase.
“The Delta symbol (Δ) was chosen because its meaning fits the concept of the remake project,” read a tweet from the official Metal Gear twitter account. “Delta means 'change' or 'difference' without changing structure.”
Delta is a symbol taken from the Greek alphabet, which is often used in the modern era to denote a state of change, chiefly in scientific fields. Sony may have revealed a ton of games including Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake at its PlayStation Showcase but Microsoft has taken to Twitter to make clear that a dozen of them are also coming to Xbox.

At the start of today's PlayStation Showcase, Sony unveiled a new heist game entitled Fairgame$, the first title coming out of Jade Raymond's Haven Studios.
We didn't see anything in the way of actual gameplay from the Fairgame$ trailer, but according to a post on the PlayStation blog, it's a competitive heist game about robbing the ultra-rich. And it the trailer is any indication, there will be a lot of grappling hooks and breaking into giant vaults and mansions involved. It seems to include teams competing against one another to rob absurdly loaded mansions, with a pretty hefty dose of Payday vibes.

Remedy Entertainment revealed that Alan Wake 2 will be a digital only release across all platforms.
In a frequently asked questions page on the Alan Wake website, Remedy explained, "There are many reasons for this. For one, a large number of have shifted to digital only. You can buy a Sony PlayStation 5 without a disc drive and Microsoft’s Xbox Series S is a digital only console. It is not uncommon to release modern games as digital-only."
Remedy continued by saying that not releasing a disc helps keep the price of the game at $60 on console and $50 on PC. Bungie has revealed the next installment in its Marathon series, which has not seen a new entry since 1996.
During today's PlayStation Showcase, Bungie revealed a trailer for a revival of Marathon, its sci-fi first-person shooter series. Bungie is calling it its first completely new project in more than a decade.
Marathon is currently for both PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC and will feature cross-play and cross-save. Capcom has unveiled new gameplay footage of the PS VR version of the Resident Evil 4 remake at today's PlayStation Showcase.
A release date, however, was not announced, which Capcom merely saying that it's currently in development.
The new trailer showed off some pretty standard Resident Evil fare, with Dr. Salvador coming at Leon with a chainsaw. Elaborating further in a blog post, Edvin Edsö, promotion producer for Resident Evil, called it the "ultimate immersion experience."

Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the next mainline game in the series, has officially been dated for Oct. 12.
Ubisoft announced the news at today's PlayStation Showcase, although it was leaked earlier in the day by a few Japanese retailers. It also got a new trailer, which showed off some new abilities and some familiar ones as well.
As Playstation elaborates further in a blog post published after the Showcase reveal, one of the new features will be what's called Assassin's Focus, which will allow you to mark and assassinate several targets in a row. There's also the Pole Vault, which Ubisoft teases as "brand-new parkour ingredient."

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake has been rebooted again and is now in its conception phase. Furthermore, the game will not be shown at the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event on June 12 and there are no plans to remake any other game in the series.
Ubisoft provided an update about its Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake project since it was moved over to its Montreal studio from its Pune and Mumbai studios in India last year. “In terms of the development stage, we're in conception right now.
