If you're looking forward to playing The Last of Us Part 1 on PC, you may be able to get your hands on it sooner than you thought. According to one Naughty Dog dev, the studio's overhaul of the beloved post-apocalyptic game is expected to launch on PC "very soon" after the PS5 release.
Naughty Dog Senior Environment Texture Artist, Jonathan Benainous, responded to a fan on Twitter (below) to tell them that The Last of Us Part 1's PC version would be coming "very soon" after September's initial PS5 launch.

Developer Game Island has announced Serum, a first-person survival game for PC in which you must craft, hunt, adapt, and survive in a forest that's been posioned by the titular serum.
Game Island says there will be safe zones and shelters where you can craft weapons and traps and prepare to stave off the wilds. Meanwhile, you'll need to fight off the serum-infected mutant animals in the forest.
A hook, though, is that you have to inject the serum into your own system in order to stay alive; even though it will change you physically and mentally, you will die if you don't get more of it every few minutes. But every living thing is a potential serum source, as you can harvest the serum from enemies and other entities.

Halo Infinite's long-awaited campaign co-op does not include online matchmaking in either its current beta phase or final version.
As reported by GamesRadar+, 343 Industries has confirmed that the game will not include an option to connect with a stranger online, only including direct user-to-user invites.
"Online matchmaking will not be available with final co-op," an Xbox spokesperson said. "We encourage you to use the Halo [Looking for Group service] and the new Discord voice call feature on Xbox to find players to party up with as you continue playing the beta."

While the MCU is still establishing a new overarching direction in the aftermath of Avenegrs: Endgame, it's safe to say Kang the Conquerer is going to be a big deal in the years ahead. Jonathan Majors debuted as a version of this iconic Marvel villain in the Season 1 finale of Loki, and the death of He Who Rmains merely sets the stage for more versions of Kang to plague the timeline.
So the question is, now that Thanos is gone, how much of a role will Majors' character play in the MCU moving forward? We know Majors will play Kang in 2023's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and we even got our first look at Kang thanks to a Comic-Con poster. Capcom shared a first look at alternate costumes for Street Fighter 6, and some of the outfits are sure to bring a wave of nostalgia to long-time fighting game fans.
As part of the Street Fighter panel at SDCC 2022, Capcom revealed that Ryu, Chun-Li, and Guile are getting DLC costumes that replicate their classic Street Fighter 2 outfits. Chun-Li will be able to do her classic taunt that has hit detection, as well. You can check out the classic designs below.
Capcom also showed off Luke wearing streetwear. This version of the character is wearing shoes, which isn't the case for his default costume. Jamie, Luke's rival, also got an alternate costume, complete with a pretty sick chain.

Nvidia announced today that Dying Light 2 will also be available on its cloud gaming service GeForce Now when the game releases on December 7. GeForce Now Founders and Priority members will be able to play an RTX enhanced version of Dying Light 2 lower-end devices. Nvidia also confirmed both the Steam and Epic Games Store versions would be playable on its service.

Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding director Hideo Kojima has taken to Twitter to share that he enjoyed 12 Minutes so much that it "kinda makes [him] want to create another adventure game."
12 Minutes is a time-loop mystery adventure game starring Willem Dafoe, James McAvoy, and Daisy Ridley that had Kojima saying he hasn't "been into a game this much since INSIDE."
"Once you get used to the overhead view and the controls, you won't mind. It's a game using intelligence. It's like the Amiga games I used to play," Kojima wrote. "I still haven't cleared it yet, but it's fun. I'm afraid of Dafoe's visit!"

At San Diego Comic-Con 2022 we got official confirmation that "Ultra Instinct Shaggy" meme is indeed canon.
During a panel focusing on MultiVersus, the upcoming free-to-play crossover fighting game with characters from various properties owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, when asked about the meme, MultiVersus Game Director Tony Huynh confirmed that the meme had been added to the official canon.
"While it's a meme, it's actually canon," Huynh said. "In the movie, there's that bar fight scene. There was the Mortal Kombat animated movie last year, and it was connected to that." Yesterday, AMD uploaded a video on its official YouTube video revealing a new feature called "Voice Suppression," allowing users to filter background noise, Tom's Hardware reports.
The leaked trailer mentions AMD Noise Suppression will use a "real-time deep learning algorithm" to provide users with "two-way noise-reduction" that will filter out background noise from both incoming and outgoing microphone audio. The video also suggests that Noise Suppression will be a new setting found in the Audio and Video Tab in the AMD Adrenaline driver. AMD has since removed the trailer from its YouTube channel, though Reddit user u/zenobian managed to download the trailer and post it on the AMD subreddit.

MultiVersus, the Smash Bros.-like Warner Bros. crossover fighter, has revealed new characters Rick Sanchez, Morty Smith, and LeBron James.
Announced during a San Diego Comic-Con panel, the panel unveiled these characters along with a closer look at how LeBron controls in the game. While it seems jarring to put LeBron James, a real-life person and pro basketball player in the NBA, this would not be the first time we have seen a "fictionalized" version of him, which initially debuted in 2021's Space Jam: A New Legacy.
The MultiVersus panel also confirmed that Morty Smith will join the roster on August 9th, while Rick Sanchez will be playable at a later date.

Yesterday, Ubisoft announced that it delayed a "smaller unannounced premium game," though the title of the game was unknown. Now, a source has revealed that this game was Rift, the codename for an upcoming Assassin's Creed title.
According to a report by Bloomberg, Assassin's Creed Rift was delayed from February to May or June because development was running behind schedule.
Rift was originally planned as an expansion for the 2020 title Assassin's Creed Valhalla, though the project became a standalone game in late 2021 to add to the company's thin release schedule. While not much is known about the game, it's reportedly set in the Middle East and features a smaller scope with a focus on stealth gameplay.
