How to Watch the Terminator Movies in Chronological Order
“I’ll be back” is one of the most iconic lines in movie history and it's all thanks to Arnold Schwarzenegger and the team bringing it and the Terminator franchise to life in 1984. Since then, the franchise has grown to six films, a TV series, web shows, video games, comics, and so much more. While the future of the Terminator film franchise is unclear, there’s never a bad time to watch or rewatch these legendary sci-fi movies that see humanity rising up against Skynet to prevent their extinction. However, there is a lot of time traveling and timeline resetting that happens in the films, so it can be hard to know how to watch them in the correct order. There are a few different ways you can, but it’s impossible to watch them in a full...
Thank your own personal deity—possibly big-boned Thor—it's Friday! Not too long ago Naughty Dog posted some pretty compelling reasons to return to The Last of Us Part I, so I have the best price for it here. Live A Live was a rock solid 9 from us, so it's here too. Lastly, I'd like to suggest you all boldly go into No Man's Sky once more, thanks to its Endurance update. Lots of great improvements there. So maybe just set your faces to stunned. In the wake of the reveal of The Last of Us Part 1, a full remake of the original 2012 release for PlayStation 3, there were plenty of questions about how much it would actually change. But based on a new video released by Naughty Dog today, the answer is "plenty." The Last Of Us director Neil Druckmann was among those taking center stage to outline some of the biggest enhancements to the beloved classic, from graphical enhancements to improvements to accessibility. The team also outlined a host of new features, which include: A new Permadeath Mode A Speedrun Mode where players can time their runs Unlockable costumes for Joel and Ellie An enhanced Photo Mode A Model Viewer Mode That's on top of big changes to AI, graphics, and...
CD Projekt Red has admitted it included a few too many points of interest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Skellige map, but has also explained the reason why so many question marks filled the screen in the first place. Speaking during the developer's 20th anniversary stream, Witcher 4 campaign director Philipp Weber, who was a junior quest designer at the time, said that the various smugglers' caches — underwater chests sprinkled in the dozens throughout the oceans of Skellige — weren't actually introduced as points of interest at all. Given the extraordinary size of The Witcher 3's map, CD Projekt decided it needed something more than just quests upon quests to fill it. "I can admit freely I'm one of those people that actually put...
Today at San Diego Comic Con, WB revealed more details about Gotham Knights, including a new gameplay trailer featuring Batgirl. The trailer highlights Batgirl's combat, including her wrist blasters and a multi batarang throw. It also gave some insight into her character, with a focus on her desire to protect Gotham City regardless of what name that protection happens to go by. It concluded by announcing that anyone who pre-orders Gotham Knights now will receive a 233 Kustom Batcycle skin. The SDCC panel included appearances from creative director Patrick Redding, narrative director Anne Lemay, cinematics director Wilson Mui, Cinematics Director, America Young (Batgirl), and Christopher Sean (Nightwing). Comics writer Scott Snyder...
Iconic Batman villain The Joker won't be in WB Montreal's upcoming action RPG, Gotham Knights, according to creative director Patrick Redding speaking at a panel today at San Diego Comic Con. During a fan Q&A, Redding was asked if Joker was in the game, to which he responded no, but added, "I will not confirm or deny whether Harley is," indicating that Joker's clownish compatriot might make an appearance of some sort. Redding also confirmed that Batman is in fact "really dead" in Gotham Knights (he dies in the first ten minutes, setting up the plot), and remains dead at the end of the game. He also added that there is "exactly one" Riddler question mark in all of Gotham Knights. At this same panel, we also got a look at a new...
Today Wizards of the Coast revealed new details about Magic: The Gathering’s next set, Dominaria United. While the first hints of story were shared, the really surprising news is that some booster packs will contain original cards printed for the 1994 set Legends. In a video announcing the news, WOTC explained that it found sealed boxes of actual Legends booster packs in a warehouse and wanted to find a way to distribute those cards to players. As such, they decided to open the packs and insert these original printings into Collector boosters for Dominaria United as both a tie-in to Magic’s very first plane and a celebration of its history as the game approaches its 30th birthday. Many of the cards in Legends are extremely rare and...
Not only is Ubisoft delaying Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and another unannounced game, but it's also apparently flat-out canceling four whole titles in an attempt to cut costs and focus on its bigger names. Among those canceled games are both Ghost Recon Frontline and Splinter Cell VR. Ghost Recon Frontline's cancellation is a bit surprising, given that the game wasn't even actually out yet. It was first announced back in October as a free-to-play battle royale spin-off with 102-player battles. Initial reception was fairly negative, though, and a planned closed test of the game was indefinitely postponed. Now it seems like we'll never see it again. Splinter Cell VR is a bit less shocking. It was first announced way back in 2020...
Bandai Namco has announced that Dragon Ball: The Breakers will launch on October 14 for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. The game will be backward compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Dragon Ball: The Breakers is a multiplayer affair where a team of seven Survivors tries to escape one Raider. Survivors are regular civilians trapped in a Temporal Seam and must utilize their wits and gadgets to return home using the Super Time Machine. The Raider takes the form of a major Dragon Ball antagonist and must hunt down and eliminate the Survivors. Bandai Namco will also be running a closed network test on August 6 and 7 on all platforms. During this session, Cell and the newly announced Frieza will be playable...
Ubisoft has announced that its upcoming first-person open world adventure, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been delayed to April 2023 at the earliest. Revealed as part of Ubisoft's Q1 earnings report, the game was delayed into Ubisoft's 2023-24 financial year, which begins next April. No more specific release timeframe was given. After an announcement in 2017 and a reveal in 2021, we've heard remarkably little about the project - meaning many won't be too surprised by the delay. Developed by The Division developer, Massive, the project was apparently impressive enough to convince Disney to let them make a Star Wars game, too. No reasoning was given for the delay. Ubisoft did say, "We are committed to delivering a cutting-edge...
Detroit: Become Human is getting a manga adaptation in Japan with a story set in Tokyo at the same time period as the game. As reported by Famitsu, Detroit: Become Human: Tokyo Stories is being written by Saruwatari Kazami and drawn by Moto Sumida. The story follows an android idol known as Reina and, like the game before it, explores what happens when these robots gain independent thoughts and feelings. Unlike Detroit: Become Human, however, Tokyo Stories focuses on a smoother integration of androids as Reina becomes incredible popular. The peace isn't to last, of course, disrupted by a rogue android that gains sentience. The manga will appear in Comic Bridge magazine starting July 22 but there's currently no word on whether it...
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection includes never-before-seen design documents that show how the 13 included retro games were made. We've got 11 to show you ahead of release. We just revealed that The Cowabunga Collection has got an August 30 release date, and developer Digital Eclipse has provided us with a number of the original concept documents included in the game collection's Museum mode – which have never been publicly revealed before now. The documents show off animation and art concepts for heroes and villains, cutscene plans, and much more. It's a fascinating look into how Konami approached making these games in the 8-bit and 16-bit eras. Check all the documents out below: Digital Eclipse promises that...
When we got our first real look at Saints Row back in May, we said that the reboot feels like it sits somewhere between Saints Row 2 & 3. That was music to my ears, as I always preferred the (slightly) more serious tone of the second game to the straight-up zaniness of The Third. Now, after having played the first few hours of this new take on the Saints for myself, I'm glad to be able to say that it definitely feels more like an action-comedy from the likes of Matthew Vaughn or James Gunn rather than a straight-up farce from National Lampoon – though it also keeps a healthy dose of the bombastic action that made the later games so fun, too. At this point, we’ve seen plenty about Saints Row’s extensive customization options, so I...
Nintendo's former managing director of sales, planning, and strategy has joined Bayonetta and Nier: Automata developer PlatinumGames as vice president. Announced in a Famitsu article featured on Platinum's website, Takao Yamane will also take on the role of chief business officer after spending his last 27 years at Nintendo. Yamane became managing director back in March 2004, meaning he was there for the release of the Nintendo DS, Wii, 3DS, Wii U, and Switch. He had other roles at the company previously, including as vice president of Nintendo France. Yamane made clear he didn't leave Nintendo with any ill-feelings, but he had just turned 50 and wanted a new challenge. "My resignation was very smooth," he said. "My desire to take on...
If Shredder's Revenge wasn't enough, you'll soon be able to play virtually every major Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game released to console thanks to the new Cowabunga Collection, which now has a release date. IGN can exclusively reveal that The Cowabunga Collection will be releasing August 30 on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch. The collection will bring with it 13 games from the franchise's 8 and 16-bit days, including beloved staples like Turtles in Time for the Super Nintendo. Developed by Digital Eclipse, The Cowabunga Collection caused a mini-sensation when it was announced back in March, not the least because many of the games in the collection are difficult to impossible to obtain on modern...
EA has revealed that FIFA 23 will be available on September 30 and will feature women's clubs for the first time, as well as same-generation cross-play, World Cup DLC, and more. Revealed on its official website and in a new trailer (below), EA's final FIFA game will include both the UK's Barclays FA Women's Super League and France's Division 1 Arkema, letting fans play as cover star Sam Kerr. FIFA 23 will also be cross-play at launch, though like the testing in last year's edition, there are caveats. Players can only play together between the same generation of consoles, meaning those on PlayStation 4 can only play against those on the same platform or on Xbox One. PC players (and those on Google Stadia) will be in the same pool as...

Final Fantasy VII Remake players can’t claim the PS5 Intergrade bundle via PS Plus. A quirk in the PlayStation Store means that those who already own the remake are unable to claim the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade bundle which has just been added to PS Plus Extra. Intergrade, the upgraded PS5 version of Remake, includes the new episode Intermission – a spin-off story that features Yuffie as a playable character. Unfortunately, if you already own the Final Fantasy VII Remake on PS5, you’re locked out from being able to claim or download the new bundle. Spider-Man Remastered PC Port Will Include DLSS and Ultrawide Monitor Support
Spider-Man Remastered is swinging onto PCs soon, and today, the official PlayStation blog revealed some of the new graphical features that will be available, assuming your PC can keep up with all the web slinging. Spider-Man will look extra smooth swinging through the Big Apple thanks to DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling). DLSS “increases graphics performance using dedicated Tensor Core AI processors found only on GeForce RTX GPUs, boosting frame rates with uncompromised image quality.” If you’re a person with many monitors, you’re in luck! Spider-Man Remastered will support a number of display rations including NVIDIA Surround multi-monitor setups, ultrawide 21:9, and panoramic 32:9. You’ll also be able to customize a number of...
As some developers embrace the controversial use of digital tokens, the folks at Minecraft have put their foot down on NFTs and blockchain technologies. Their post comes in response to feedback from their community members asking for “clarification and transparency” on where Mojang Studios and Minecraft stand on the topic. “While we are in the process of updating our Minecraft Usage Guidelines to offer more precise guidance on new technologies, we wanted to take the opportunity to share our view that integrations of NFTs with Minecraft are generally not something we will support or allow,” the post says. Just last year, Steam banned blockchain games and those that issued cryptocurrency. Some creators use blockchain technology to...
Farthest Frontier is far from the first foray I've fared into the fir-flecked forests of an unforgiving land. But as survival city-builders go, it provides some targeted depth and realism in areas that often get ignored. While I ran out of things to hold my interest in games like Banished fairly quickly, the agriculture and food spoilage system here make running and developing a settlement much more engaging. The premise is fairly simple. You get dumped in the woods with a few medieval settlers and have to survive harsh weather, disease, starvation, wolves, bears, and eventually – though I didn't run into any, thankfully – bandit attacks. Providing housing, firewood, fish, and berries is the first priority. But as your population...

Then, we talk a bit about God of War Ragnarok’s new story synopsis (skip ahead if you don’t want to hear any details), as well as PlayStation deepening its...
Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption publisher Take Two Interactive has announced its "unwavernig support" for its employees in the aftermath of the overturning of Roe vs. Wade, the historic 1973 judgment used to secure abortion rights across the United States. As reported by Eurogamer, a statement was shared on Take-Two subsidiary Zynga's Twitter (below) that announced the publisher is expanding its employee travel and lodging benefit programmes across the U.S. and is also adopting the Maven benefits platform, which "provides critical support across fertility, pregnancy, adoption, parenting, and pediatrics". Take-Two said it "acknowledges that the United States Supreme Court ruling regarding Roe vs. Wade is a significant event"...
Assassin’s Creed players are preparing to send off some of their favorite game modes. After news that Ubisoft would be shutting down the multiplayer modes of five Assassin’s Creed titles, fans have banded together to give the games one last hurrah. Over on the Assassin’s Creed subreddit, a user by the name FarlandsDesign has proposed a weekend of multiplayer ahead of the servers being switched off. “Assassin's Creed Multiplayer for Brotherhood, Revelations, and III is getting shut down,” they explained. “Let's commemorate them with a well-deserved farewell!” The plan is to play 3 games across 6 weekends, ensuring the maximum number of people log on at the same time to keep the games going. Games of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood...
Hello Games has announced the 20th major free update for No Man's Sky, titled Endurance, which focuses on an overhaul for freighters, frigates, and fleets. No Man's Sky's first major content update, Foundation, introduced freighters to the game back in 2016 - and Endurance aims to add much more to that experience in time for the game's 6th anniversary. Creator Sean Murray wrote: "We introduced the ability to own and captain freighters in our very first update, and it’s something we’ve been excited to take the opportunity to completely reinvent. Captaining a fleet to explore the unknown has always been core to that fantasy of science fiction, from Battlestar to Starfleet, and it’s a huge fan favorite." Full patch notes are available...
Diablo: Immortal players can now change their class once a week thanks to the latest update from Blizzard. Announced in a blog post, an update arriving today, July 20, will add the Class Change mechanic, letting Wizards become Barbarians, Necromancers become Monks, and so on. Players must be level 35 before they have the option to change class - which can be done at the Shifting Flames brazier in Westmarch - but can do so as many times as they like, with one change allowed every seven days. Doing so will also be free indefinitely, as Blizzard said it has no plans to charge players for changing class once a week or any more frequently. Players can also choose to immediately revert to their previous class if they change their mind or...

Just the term "LASO" sends chills down even the most hardened Halo player's spine. The term refers to completing a Halo campaign on its hardest difficulty — Legendary — with all of the gameplay-modifying Skulls turned on (LASO standing for Legendary All Skulls On). If that doesn't sound hard enough as it is, how about completing the entire LASO run with zero deaths? That's what content creator Charlie ‘Cr1tikal’ White is challenging the Halo community to complete. In a YouTube video first spotted by PCGamesN, he offered the first player to finish a Halo 2 Anniversary LASO run with zero deaths a $20,000 prize. Besides the seemingly impossible task of a one-life LASO run, Halo 2 is also widely recognized as the most difficult Legendary...
