Yakuza fans desperate for more information on Lika a Dragon 8 could hear more at RGG Summit: Summer 2023, which Sega has announced will take place on June 15.
Revealed in a tweet (below), the showcase from Yakuza developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio will be available to stream at 8pm Pacific / 11pm Eastern, meaning June 16 at 4am UK / 1pm AEST.
Sega has yet to reveal how fans can watch along but, as was the case last year, it will likely be streamed on its official Twitch channel.
The publisher didn't share any information on what fans can expect, though RGG Studio primarily focuses on the Yakuza franchise (which has been rebranded as Like a Dragon in the west) and it's likely we'll get an update there.

According to the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany website, as translated by IGN, Daedalic is working on another 3D action adventure game set within the Lord of the Rings universe that will "transport the player into a lush world full of mythical creatures and magic." Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo have announced the first piece of DLC for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. It’s called Battle of Zhongyuan and will launch on June 29.
The DLC includes a new story scenario, difficulty level, and weapon type, as well as new stages, enemies, and lore. Not many other specific details were revealed, aside from the key art depicting three Chinese warriors, but more information will be shared soon.

THQ Nordic published the first Alan Wake game on PC and released a physical disc. “I mean... we did the disc version of Alan Wake for PC back in the day ICYMI,” THQ Nordic said on Twitter. “And just because one person (or company) does not love physical, there is plenty who still do. THQ Nordic has announced that the Alone in the Dark reboot is launching October 25 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC and that a free demo is available now.
Users on these platforms can download the playable prologue of Alone in the Dark to experience what the full game will have to offer without receiving any spoilers from the main story. The standalone demo puts players in the shoes of 11-year-old Grace Saunders as she runs an errand that quickly goes wrong.
The publisher also revealed that Stranger Things' David Harbour will star as one dual-protagonist Edward Carnby while Killing Eve's Jodie Comer will play the other, Emily Hartwood.

Marvelous revealed today that it is working on several new games, including Rune Factory 6, Rune Factory: Project Dragon, a new Story of Seasons, and Daemon X Machina Titanic Scion.
Rune Factory 6 is currently in development and the game will take place in the western continent of Adonea. Rune Factory: Project Dragon is a spin-off set in the “Land of the East.” The latter's setting has been referenced throughout the series but was never shown. Project Dragon is inspired by Japanese culture and will represent the East while Rune Factory 6 represents the West.

Developer Blackbird Interactive and publisher Gearbox have announced that Homeworld 3 has been delayed to February 2024. It was originally planned to launch during the first half of 2023.
“Our primary goal is to deliver a Homeworld experience that lives up to the standards set by its predecessors and is worthy of this series’ incredible legacy,” Blackbird and Gearbox explained in a statement on Twitter.

Announced at yesterday's PlayStation Showcase, the new Marathon is the first entry in the franchise since 1996. The game is PvP-focused and won't have a single-player campaign, but it will honor the mythology and story of the original Marathon games.
We've already learned even more details about the upcoming shooter thanks to a six-and-a-half minute video Bungie posted after fans quickly solved one of the developer's famous ARG (alternate reality game) puzzles.

Konami has explained the meaning of the mysterious Δ symbol embedded in the title of Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake, which was revealed during last night’s PlayStation Showcase.
“The Delta symbol (Δ) was chosen because its meaning fits the concept of the remake project,” read a tweet from the official Metal Gear twitter account. “Delta means 'change' or 'difference' without changing structure.”

At the start of today's PlayStation Showcase, Sony unveiled a new heist game entitled Fairgame$, the first title coming out of Jade Raymond's Haven Studios.
We didn't see anything in the way of actual gameplay from the Fairgame$ trailer, but according to a post on the PlayStation blog, it's a competitive heist game about robbing the ultra-rich. And it the trailer is any indication, there will be a lot of grappling hooks and breaking into giant vaults and mansions involved. It seems to include teams competing against one another to rob absurdly loaded mansions, with a pretty hefty dose of Payday vibes.

Remedy Entertainment revealed that Alan Wake 2 will be a digital only release across all platforms.
In a frequently asked questions page on the Alan Wake website, Remedy explained, "There are many reasons for this. For one, a large number of have shifted to digital only. You can buy a Sony PlayStation 5 without a disc drive and Microsoft’s Xbox Series S is a digital only console. It is not uncommon to release modern games as digital-only."
Remedy continued by saying that not releasing a disc helps keep the price of the game at $60 on console and $50 on PC. Bungie has revealed the next installment in its Marathon series, which has not seen a new entry since 1996.
During today's PlayStation Showcase, Bungie revealed a trailer for a revival of Marathon, its sci-fi first-person shooter series. Bungie is calling it its first completely new project in more than a decade.
Marathon is currently for both PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC and will feature cross-play and cross-save. According to the PlayStation Blog, "Marathon will find players engaging one another as cybernetic mercenaries known as Runners, exploring a lost colony on the planet of Tau Ceti IV in search of riches, fame, and infamy."
