The Day Before developer Fntastic has insisted the game's Steam page, which was removed in January over a trademark dispute, will be back online soon.
Speaking to Well Played, Fntastic claimed it was "the first to start using this name related to the video game" and said it's "optimistic about regaining our name through legal proceedings as swiftly as possible".
Though it didn't give a timeline for this, despite The Day Before set to launch in just five months on November 10, Fntastic said the "Steam page will be reinstated soon".

Doug Cockle, the actor who portrayed Geralt of Rivera in The Witcher series of video games, has revealed he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer in a move to raise awareness of the life-threatening disease.

Trading card buying and collecting company Dave and Adam's Card World has issued an unprecedented $1 million bounty for the special One Ring card, doubling the $500,000 offered by fellow collector and investor Cassius Marsh Sr.

Diablo 4 is Blizzard’s fastest-selling game, but one customer can’t play it.
That customer is Oscar-winning Ghost actress Whoopi Goldberg, who said she bought the action role-playing game thinking she could play it on her Mac like its predecessors. Diablo 4, unfortunately for Goldberg, is only available for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
In a video posted to her Instagram account, first reported by Entertainment Weekly, Goldberg pleaded with Blizzard to release Diablo 4 on Mac.

After three years, an extremely dedicated group of Final Fantasy IX fans have shared a hands-on gameplay demo, showcasing their own take on what a remake of the game would look like.
The latest update from the project was a 25-minute video of a full gameplay demo. Unfortunately, however, this is the furthest this remake will go and you'll probably never be able to play it, as the group behind the project has said in the past that it has no intentions to publicly release this unless they receive consent from Square Enix. Developer Valve confirmed the feature, which Counter-Strike players have long-called for, in the tweet below.
“Bought the wrong thing? Meant to buy a different weapon, armor, or grenade? Sell your purchase back and buy again (during buy time).”
Currently, Counter-Strike does not allow refunds under any circumstances, which means if you buy a gun in error you either have to use it or fork out more cash to buy another.
It’s worth noting Counter-Strike rival Valorant, from Riot, does offer refunds.

IGN's Summer of Gaming is officially on, and the events keep rolling with Summer Game Fest 2023 on Thursday, June 8. With E3 being cancelled, Summer Game Fest promises to be one of the biggest events of the season. EA is nearing an agreement to move the ongoing development and operation of MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic from BioWare to third-party studio Broadsword Online Games, IGN has learned.
According to sources familiar with the matter, Broadsword and EA have signed a letter of intent, with the deal expected to be finalized as soon as this month. The agreement would see The Old Republic handed over to current Ultima Online and Dark Age of Camelot developer Broadsword Online, which is run by former Mythic Entertainment co-founder and BioWare VP Rob Denton, who previously worked on The Old Republic in its early days.

Diablo 4 was officially released today and if you're planning to give it a whirl, you should anticipate the game's servers to be a little rocky.
IGN's sister site, Downdetector.com, has been sharing user-reported outages for the game's servers, but these issues aren't entirely new. Players have reported problems with Diablo 4 since its early access release five days ago. PlayStation 5 players that preordered the $90 Digital Deluxe Edition or the $100 Ultimate Edition reported a day after the early access release that an "Invalid License" error was locking them out.
Players were also having wide login issues last night, although Blizzard said in a tweet this morning that those issues were resolved.

Blizzard revealed that Diablo 4 is the company’s fastest-selling game of all time. Although, this milestone has some caveats.
While Blizzard didn’t provide any specific sales numbers, Diablo 4 has been played for 93 million hours since its early access launch on June 1.

Capcom has moved to remind Street Fighter 6 players that DLC hasn’t come out yet amid a backlash to the game’s Ultimate Pass.
The Street Fighter 6 Year 1 Ultimate Pass, which costs $49.99 / £49.99, launched alongside the game itself and now has a “Mostly Negative” user review rating on Steam.
The backlash stems from confusion about the availability of the content of the Pass itself, as well as a feeling from some that it does not include enough of the in-game currency.
