It’s a mixed bag for Payday 3, Starbreeze’s co-op shooter that saw impressive early sales but has since struggled significantly.
Payday 3's launch was plagued with server issues that forced Starbreeze CEO Tobias Sjögren to apologise. The developer apologised again for a lack of communication, then apologised again for failing to deliver a promised patch. Despite all this, Starbreeze said Payday 3 had an impressive 3.1 million players as of October 2, a figure no doubt boosted by launching day-one on Xbox Game Pass.
But there is a question mark over Payday 3's current popularity, which appears to have dwindled. At the time of publication, more people are playing the 10-year old Payday 2 on Steam than Payday 3.

Earlier this week, Ark: Survival Ascended’s Xbox Series X and S release date was delayed just a day before it was due to come out. Developer Studio Wildcard had already delayed the console version following the Steam launch, with the Xbox and Windows PC version set to come out on November 14, and the PlayStation 5 version due out at some point later this month.

Assassin's Creed's X/Twitter account shared the news while also confirming more details about these new additions will arrive in the near future.

Film adaptations of Sega franchises like Persona and Yakuza/Like a Dragon are a possibility, the company has said.
Speaking to CNBC, chief operating officer Shuji Utsumi said Sega is looking to continue the success of the Sonic the Hedgehog film adaptations by growing the reach of its other franchises too.

Payday 3 developer Starbreeze has addressed the game's rocky launch and revealed content players can expect soon, such as two legacy heists from Payday 2.
In Starbreeze's first development update video, lead producer Andreas Häll-Penninger explained Payday 3's turbulent introduction, which saw several issues and no update for more than six weeks.

CD Projekt is releasing an official mod editor for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in 2024, meaning fans will soon be able to create their own custom content based on the beloved role-playing game's pre-existing assets.
The Witcher X/Twitter account revealed the news, below, saying it is "thrilled" to reveal CD Projekt is working on the mod editor, which will be released for free sometime next year.

Valve has revealed the time when fans can expect to purchase the Steam Deck OLED, which was recently announced for a November 16 release. The announcement came with a renewed promise to combat bots and resellers, which have been an ongoing concern amid major releases like this one.

Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Mortal Kombat 1's monetized Fatalities, Warner Bros. Games has confirmed the price and release date for its Seasonal Fatality Bundle, which will feature unique Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Winter Fatalities.
In a statement to IGN, a Warner Bros. Games confirmed that the seasonal bundle will cost 1,200 Dragon Krystals. Currently, Dragon Krystals — Mortal Kombat 1's premium currency — can only be purchased in packs of 1,250 and above, which means the bundle amounts to about $9.99. It'll be available on November 17.
