Last Updated on June 18, 2026. We checked for new codes. There is still just one active code available (TEAMGREENBEAN). This grants you three Green Bean seeds. Grow a Garden 2 codes will get your garden blossoming by giving you seeds you can plant before you even spend a Sheckle on a Carrot. GaG 2 is the sequel to the to the farming sim we all spent far too many hours in during 2025, desperately hoping we'd get a Candy Blossom seed. The major difference is now there's a night cycle, where you get to be a little thief and steal your neighbour's crops. But beware, they can also steal yours. There are also Guilds you can join, where you'll get to compete to earn exclusive weekly prizes such as the Ice Serpent pet. Codes for Grow a...
Thick rain is pouring from the foreboding, black skies. The man in the suit pounds at the door. “Mara! Open up. It’s me. We’re going to be late.” He continues hammering away, his rage growing. “Did you change the locks on me?!” He’s demanding to see “the boy,” Fret. Inside, a woman sends him to go hide. The man retrieves a crowbar from his trunk, and as he smashes through a window we see Fret run up the stairs, and into his room. He grabs a guitar from his bed, and slips behind the bifold doors of his closet. Suddenly, everything is shaking, he looks at his hands, and it all disappears as the world fades to red, then black. I’m barely two minutes into this demo, and already my heart is pounding. I love horror, but I’ll be the first to...
IGN can exclusively reveal a brand-new gameplay trailer for Garfield - Escape From Monday, and it teases the terror of "The Curse of the Spinach Lasagna" and that vegetables may not be as good for us we once thought! Garfield - Escape From Monday's latest trailer starts nice enough with Garfield in a dream surrounded by his favorite junk food. However, things quickly take a sinister turn as it becomes a nightmare filled with vegetables. As it turns out, Jon had fed Garfield spinach lasagna inspired by Chef Monday's recipe, and he's now in a deep sleep and trapped in this terrifying yet healthy dreamland. Luckily, Jon, Odie, Arlene, and Pookie will be there to help him, but he'll still have to be on the lookout for Nermal, Squeak, and...
Who’s the best football player in the world? It’s a topic of constant debate among those who follow the beautiful game. For years, there’s been the big debate over Messi vs. Ronaldo. But right now, I’d say it’s Harry Kane — and no, it’s not because of any England or Spurs bias. Have you seen what he’s done at Bayern this season? But his ability to drop deep, use his vision to pick out deep runners with his range of passing, and then arrive in the box when he needs to, doesn’t necessarily transfer over to FC 26, where a different style of player traditionally reigns. The pacey bursts and powerful strikes of Kylian Mbappé or the lightning-quick two-footed dribbling of Ousmane Dembélé is the kind of thing that finds its way into the FC...
Some of my favorite video game experiences as a kid (and I’m going to date myself here) started with biking down to my local Blockbuster with one of my friends, browsing the shelves until we found a co-op game with cool box art, and biking home with our rented prize. We’d spend the next couple lazy summer evenings glued to a TV, controllers in hand, traipsing through whatever fantastical world we’d luck into. We didn’t really know what we were doing; we weren’t subscribed to the magazines de jour. The most we’d do is print guides off of the internet. But those evenings were pretty magical nonetheless, whether the games were good or not. If the game was smooth and played well and had us laughing and feeling good, so much the better. But...
No Law is an ambitious project. It’s a Cyberpunk-style sci-fi action adventure set in a city packed with thousands of NPCs and buildings you can enter. But it’s not on the same scale as CD Projekt’s sprawling Night City. Rather, Port Desire goes for density and fidelity over sheer scale. That’s a choice Neon Giant co-founders and co-creative directors Tor Frick and Arcade Berg made early on in development of this promising follow-up to cyberpunk twin-stick shooter The Ascent, which won plaudits for its attention to detail. Now, with the perspective shifted to first-person and an open world city to explore, No Law doubles down and expands on everything that made The Ascent so good. No Law showed up at this year's Unreal Fest (it’s...
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is now available, bringing a new HD-2D action RPG adventure from the creators of OCTOPATH TRAVELER and BRAVELY DEFAULT. Developed by Square Enix and Claytechworks, this real-time action RPG swaps turn-based battles for fast, weapon-swapping combat, dungeon exploration, fairy-assisted puzzle solving, and a time-hopping story spread across four different ages. If you’re after something with classic Zelda and Secret of Mana energy, wrapped in that unmistakable HD-2D visual style, Elliot’s journey should be firmly on your radar. From platforms and story details to gameplay, editions, demo information, PC specs, and the latest trailer, here’s everything you need to know about The Adventures of...
A new report suggests Xbox layoffs will likely result in a "bloodbath" of job losses and studio closures, leaving developers "punished" simply for following Microsoft's orders. Word of Xbox staff redundancies and development studio shutdowns is now rife, following an ominous warning from newly-installed Xbox CEO Asha Sharma that the console maker's slim profit margin was no longer sustainable. While it has been reported that Xbox studios such as South of Midnight maker Compulsion Games, Kiln and Keeper developer Double Fine, and Hellblade helmer Ninja Theory are just some of the teams now facing shutdown, the exact details remain unclear and unfinalized. Microsoft is believed to be timing the layoffs with the end of its financial year...
Fighting game fans rejoice, because Dead or Alive 6 Last Round is on its way. Unlike many upcoming releases, this one is a bit of an oddity. Rather than being a brand-new entry, Dead or Alive 6 Last Round is an enhanced rerelease of the 2019 fighter. Even so, it looks set to offer plenty of reasons to jump back into the arena. From the release date to gameplay details and story information, here is everything you need to know about Dead or Alive 6 Last Round. What Is Dead or Alive 6 Last Round? The “what” is a big deal here. Dead or Alive 6 originally launched in 2019. Last Round is a rerelease that bundles in several DLC fighters, introduces graphical improvements, and adds a brand-new Photo Mode. The Photo Mode is one of the...
Vampire Survivors studio Poncle appears to be reconsidering its plans for a lucrative Fortnite crossover, after Epic Games this week confirmed it now uses generative AI tools within the battle royale's art and design process. A recent behind-the-scenes video published by Epic Games showed how the company now uses generative AI prompts to adjust hand-drawn designs for Fortnite character skins and art assets used in the game's concept phase. The video showed AI being used to turn sketches into more detailed designs, or experiment with alternative versions of artwork (turning a daylight scene into night-time, for example). The video also showed AI introducing errors or unwanted additions which also needed to be corrected by hand —...
The latest update to Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Tactics remaster adds New Game+, and fans are already debating whether Ramza’s story really needs the mode and what fresh possibilities this could open up for the beloved turn-based strategy game. Update 1.5.0 dropped on June 17 and adds a bunch of UI improvements and adjustments to Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. However, the big draw of this update is New Game+, something the original game never had back in 1998. This allows players to carry over their units and inventory from a completed game save into a new game, and continue to grind these units up to Level 100. Other improvements in the update include letting you see a unit’s status effects at a glance, and another...
Final Fantasy 14 players in Japan now have the opportunity to get in-game cosmetics and items by paying their real life taxes, as reported by Famitsu. These rewards include the online MMORPG’s Megashiba Mount. Japan has a Hometown tax initiative (Furusato Nozei), which allows people to redirect portions of their residence tax to other areas of the country, even if they don’t live there. In return, you can choose a special gift from the region (everything from local snacks and traditional handcrafted items, to hotel stays and local cultural experiences). The scheme launched back in 2008 with the aim of directing tax funds back to rural, less-populated areas, but now almost every municipality in the country offers some kind of reward via...
Granblue Fantasy: Relink introduced a brand new audience to the floating islands of Zegagrande and the adventuring Skyfarers of the Granblue Fantasy series back when it launched in 2024. Marking the first console RPG adventure for the primarily mobile gacha series, Relink let players pull off dazzling arrays of anime spectacle as they worked together either with their CPU-controlled party or with their friends to tackle quests and monsters. Now, we are mere weeks away from diving into the massive new expansion, Endless Ragnarok, and during SGF we had a chance to sit down and speak with the creative director, Tetsuya Fukuhara, and narrative director, Sanshiro Hidaka, but also get some hands-on time with the new expansion. Some of the...
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is adding content for the first time in years, and it's completely free. Insomniac Games confirmed that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 players will get free access to the new suit from Brand New Day starting July 28th. The suit seems to be a revised version of the one from No Way Home, which is an amalgamation of the suits worn by Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland. During the film's development, Tom Holland noted that he sought feedback from fans online to try to make Brand New Day as good as it could be. That feedback led to revisions to the suit, which will also be reflected in the new update to Marvel's Spider-Man 2. A new trailer for Brand New Day was released today alongside ticket pre-sales, and it...
Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 are being brought to new platforms in July, courtesy of Iron Galaxy. Treyarch confirmed today that its beloved Call of Duty games are making a grand return via new ports, courtesy of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 developer Iron Galaxy. These ports will only be available on PlayStation, though it's unclear which PlayStation platforms. The initial leak for these ports indicated they'd likely be available on PS4 and, as a result, would also be available to play on PS5 through backwards compatibility. It's currently unclear if PS5 will get native ports. Treyarch also confirmed that the ports will include campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies, so players will get to experience the full packages. It's not known...
With past mainline versions of Unreal Engine, Epic would usually kick things off with a flashy tech demo that pushes photorealism to a new level. That didn't happen with Unreal Engine 6. Because while the company showed off the same Rocket League UE6 teaser that it did a couple weeks ago, Epic CEO Tim Sweeney spent way more time focusing on his vision of an open games ecosystem. The idea, on the surface, is to get rid of the barriers between different games, letting you use skins and other cosmetics that you buy in other Unreal Engine 6 games in Fortnite, and vice-versa. It's a cool idea. After all, I barely play Fortnite, only ever peeking in when there's a cool Festival season going on (I miss Guitar Hero), but even I have a library...
Fall is already looking stacked with some exciting game releases. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is among the many games launching in that pre-GTA 6 period, dropping on October 23. Here, we've broken down what editions are available to preorder, how much they cost, and what they come with. Pick up your preferred copy and be ready to roll on release day. Preorder Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 – Standard Edition PS5 (Physical) See at Amazon - $69 See at Walmart - $69 See at GameStop - $69.99 See at Target - $69.99 Xbox Series X (Physical) See at Amazon - $69.99 See at Walmart - $69 See...
GTA Online is getting its next big update in just a few weeks. The new update, known as The Kortz Center Heist, will let players ransack Los Santos' most prestigious art gallery. The building has been in GTA 5 since launch, but has largely been unused for any significant content outside of a standoff between various law enforcement agencies in the story mode. It's never had an accessible interior, and there's not much reason to go visit it, but that will all change in July. If it's anything like other GTA Online updates, this will likely be quite expansive and feature new vehicles, weapons, clothing, and potentially, gameplay mechanics. Previous heists are also highly replayable thanks to different approaches, which allow you to take...
Ubisoft has detailed the full list of achievements available in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, and stated that all will be available offline after the game's installation is complete. This is perhaps not too surprising as Black Flag Resynced will be an entirely single-player experience (the original game's multiplayer offering has not made the leap to this remake), but notable perhaps due to Ubisoft's previous form of sunsetting games like The Crew. The same lengthy list of in-game awards will be available to unlock across platforms, so will be offered as Steam achievements, Xbox achievements and PlayStation trophies, Ubisoft said in a blog post via Steam. No achievement can be missed during your explorations of the...
Dispatch developer AdHoc Studio has issued a patch to unlock more nudity options on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, after unexpected in-game censorship was discovered by players earlier this year, prompting a huge furore. The "HR Violations Pack" is available to download today in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and unlocks the ability to see "breasts, butts and birds (AKA, obscene gestures)." For those who'd still rather not see video game boobs and bums, AdHoc has also provided alternate options to its default ugly black censorship boxes: a more tasteful pixelated effect, and comedy cover-up items such as jorts. These can be chosen at will from the game's options. However, as AdHoc rather suggestively states, "hard...
I first saw Onimusha: Way of the Sword at last year’s Summer Game Fest, but I didn’t get to go hands-on with it myself until the Tokyo Game Show. It was the best game I played at an absolutely stacked show, so when I got another crack at it earlier this month, it didn’t disappoint. I’m not quite sure it was the best game I saw at SGF this year – competition was fierce between this, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Alien Isolation 2, and some that I simply can’t talk about yet – but it’s easily in the conversation. My demo of Onimusha was a two-parter. The first part was a hands-off presentation inside a theater. It was impressive and featured a couple of boss battles I wish I’d gotten to play. But an action game is only as good as it...
If you’re a Disney Dreamlight Valley sicko like myself, then you’re probably champing at the bit about the Summer Showcase livestream happening later today. It's poised to give fans a glimpse at what’s coming next to one of my favorite cozy games. Since last year’s substantial Wishblossom Ranch expansion, we haven’t heard much about what’s coming next, though another expansion in 2026 seems likely, and this could be announcing just that. Gameloft has said to expect a roadmap update and the reveal of the game's first Adventure Pack, Disney Dreamlight Valley: Honeyglow Woods. This will include three "beloved" new Villagers, a whole new nook of the Valley to decorate, and four new companions to befriend. Meanwhile, there will be...
Jade Shadows: Constellations, the next Narrative Chapter of Warframe, is being released on June 17 and, according to the development team, it’s unlike anything Warframe players have seen before. In the new update, the 65th Warframe is actually two Warframes in one. I spoke exclusively with Rebecca Ford, Warframe’s Creative Director, ahead of the new chapter’s launch to talk about the mechanics of switching between characters, Ryoku’s Railjack – which we’re exclusively revealing, the long-awaited Stug Incarnon, and how the new update was partially inspired by Super Smash Bros. The Super Smash Bros. DNA inside Jade Shadows: Constellations “There is a Super Smash Bros. reference for all of our choices because originally we did not know...
I got to play End of Abyss at last year’s Summer Game Fest Play Days event, and I liked it just fine. It was a moody, atmospheric, creepy, and very good-looking twin-stick metroidvania played from an isometric perspective. It didn’t leave a lasting impression on me, though, if I’m being honest. What a difference a year can make. This year’s near-final build of End of Abyss – it’s due to ship on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 1 – has been punched up in nearly every way. Visually, its Unreal Engine 5-powered look is crisper and creepier – to say nothing of its skin-crawling creature design. The fact that members of the Section 9 Interactive development team previously worked on Little Nightmares is evident in what I played...
If you own a digital copy of Grand Theft Auto V on Xbox One or PS4, you'll be entitled to a free upgrade to the current-gen versions of the game starting tomorrow, June 18. Rockstar Games announced the upgrades while detailing GTA Online's next big update, which arrives in July. Players will only be eligible for this upgrade if they have a digital copy, and presumably, this will only apply within platform families (PS4 to PS5, for example). As has been the case for years, you'll also be able to migrate all of your progress over, ensuring everything you've earned transfers with you. Currently, GTA 5 costs $39.99 on current-gen platforms, so this is a steal. If you haven't been interested in double (or triple!) dipping on GTA 5...
It’s no secret that I’m a massive fan of the Forza Horizon franchise. Every single one has been nothing less than brilliant, and so when longtime designer-turned-Forza-Horizon-5-creative-director Mike Brown left Playground Games to found Maverick Games just three years ago, I figured I’d be interested in whatever he and his new team had up their collective sleeve. It was a safe bet, but a correct one, as the studio’s first project is very much up my alley – and will probably appeal to plenty of my fellow Forza Horizon fans. It’s called Clutch, and while it does feature multiplayer, it’s a more single-player-focused open-world driving game than Forza Horizon. It’s set in a spectacular place, like Horizon – the south of France, including...
Microsoft has insisted it will not “reverse course” on its recently announced plan to return to exclusive Xbox games, but fans say they are finding it hard to trust what the company says. The trust issues stem from Microsoft’s announcement of Senua, the next game in the Hellblade series, just days before reports emerged that its developer, Ninja Theory, was in danger of being shut down. But fans have also pointed out that Xbox executives recently praised games released by Compulsion and Double Fine, two Xbox studios reportedly also at risk of closure. So, questions have been asked about Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution’s Xbox exclusivity, which was only confirmed during Xbox Games Showcase earlier this month. If Microsoft...
I love pixel art. I find that, even decades later, the best-looking games of the ‘90s – Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 6, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past – can still be breathtaking in a way older 3D games usually aren’t. That’s why I take notice whenever Square Enix uses its signature HD-2D art style, and why it’s so exciting to see that aesthetic expand past its turn-based roots with The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, the first action-adventure game to get this modern-retro treatment. Even though its titular hero may be wearing red instead of green, it essentially asks the question, “What if Square made A Link to the Past?” The answer is an adventure I never knew I wanted – one with a compelling story, impressive...
Gabe Newell has splashed out $70.8 million on a Florida super mansion that comes with its own tunnel to the sea. The billionaire Valve boss acquired the roughly 20,000-square-foot home in Manalapan, Florida, the Wall Street Journal reported. Newell bought it from Cindy and Ron McMackin, founders of the mechanical subcontracting company Pan-Pacific Mechanical, who paid $39 million for it in 2020. According to the WSJ, Newell's new home includes a tunnel connecting the waterfront estate with the ocean via a beach. We can see what this looks like via a 2020 promotional video published to YouTube by Premier Estate Properties, which handled the sale. A perfect fit for the odd headcrab? I'd bring a crowbar... just saying. Elsewhere...
Last updated on June 17, 2026: Added four new Evomon codes! Evomon codes will give you free rewards, including EXP Fruit and Coins, which you're going to need in this creature-catcher adventure game inspired by Pokémon. You'll awaken in a strange world, where Mentor Ben explains you'll need to fight wild Evomon. You can then choose from three starter Evomon, Leafbu, Blazpu, or Bubble (yes, I was expecting it to be something like Waterlu). From there, you'll jump through a portal into Verdant Valley and be able to fight and collect other Evomon to build your team. To help you get started, we've rounded up all of the working Evomon codes in one place and tested them to make sure you can redeem them. Working Evomon Codes (June 2026)...
