Shawn ‘Solo’ Fonteno is the voice behind one of Grand Theft Auto’s most iconic characters, Franklin Clinton. He made an appearance on Kai Cenat’s Twitch stream as a special guest back in 2024, where he took the influencer on a tour of the neighborhoods in Los Angeles that appeared in the game’s fictional city of Los Santos.
However, Solo said this was likely the last stream he’d ever do with Cenat due to the broadcaster’s interaction with a young fan that happened during their outing.

Studio Behind Hyper Light Drifter In Peril After Publisher Withdraws Funding for Unannounced Project
Heart Machine, the development studio behind titles like Hyper Light Drifter and Possessors, is in dire straits after a publisher withdrew their funding for an unannounced project.
The news was shared to LinkedIn by Heart Machine’s founder, Alx Preston, on September 16, 2026. Preston explained that the publisher funding this unannounced title “decided to no longer move forward with it,” and without this income, the studio was forced to lay off “nearly everyone.”
“It's devastating,” Preston wrote, going on to confirm that all people involved would be given “as much support as possible, including assisting with placement.”
Currently, Preston isn’t certain whether or not Heart Machine will survive this devastating financial blow, but...

The software is meant to be difficult to crack, with the hope that it will protect the game from becoming available for free on piracy sites around the time of launch. It does its job to a degree, as it took about a month and a half for Resident Evil Requiem to be cracked... and it was achieved by a pirate known as voices38.

Breakout hit Wardogs is outpacing Arc Raiders and Helldivers 2 on Steam in terms of copies sold at launch, new data shows.
Bulkhead’s tactical first-person shooter released in early access form on Steam on September 10 and hit a peak of 428,666 concurrent players soon after, becoming one of the most-played games on Valve’s platform. It sold 1 million copies on day one and 1.25 million by day two. Bulkhead announced 2 million sales after just five days.

James Bond game 007 First Light has been delayed yet again on Nintendo Switch 2, and will now arrive in March 2027.
007 First Light was originally expected to land back in May this year on all platforms simultaneously. In April, however, Hitman developer IO Interactive announced a last-minute delay for the Switch 2 version, and stated it would now arrive this fall.

Wardogs players are avoiding the game's Lonestar faction, as they seemingly attract the worst players and lose the most games.
There are three playable teams in Wardogs: a blue team (Lonestar), a red team (Valkyra), and a green team (Manticore). The different teams don't really have any major gameplay effects, but there is a stigma around Lonestar. For whatever reason, Lonestar has a really difficult time accomplishing much of anything in Wardogs. The team tends to attract the worst and newest players, leading to a major handicap for players on that team.
