It’s no secret that MultiVersus has seen its official launch delayed, and with recent troubles at Warner Bros. Discovery, fans were concerned about the game being a part of that wider issue. But don’t worry – the Season 1 delay is nothing to do with the Warner Bros. Discovery merger.
According to game director Tony Huynh, the MultiVersus delay has absolutely nothing to do with the ongoing disruption at Warner Bros. Discovery.

It’s been several years since Beyond Good & Evil 2 was officially announced. After a lack of news for quite some time, there’s finally a new development for the long-awaited game: they’ve hired their lead writer.
In a tweet yesterday, Sarah Arellano announced that she was joining as the game’s Lead Writer. Arellano previously worked as Narrative Designer for Blizzard on World of Warcraft and at Volition, the studio responsible for Saints Row.
Beyond Good & Evil 2 was officially announced in 2017 at E3. The game will serve as a prequel to the original game with promises of being able to explore alone or with friends in its massive and ambitious world.

Microsoft is testing an Xbox Game Pass widget with Windows Insiders according to a new post on the official Windows Insider blog.
The widget will make it even easier to see the latest additions, what games are leaving soon, and other games from highlighted categories across Game Pass.
The update test comes as part of the newest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build. It will hopefully alleviate some of the current unevenness while navigating the Xbox app. The widget will take you to the Xbox app where you’ll be able to install your favorite games on your PC and see game reviews.

During today's Pokemon Presents presentation, the Pokemon team revealed a full map of Paldea, the region where Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are set. While the official map is slightly blurry, a fanmade upscaled version is now giving us a clearer look at the Paldea region.

The Steam Deck is getting a whole host of improvements in the newest update from Valve including improvements to docked mode, system updates, and more. The updates, detailed in the patch notes, include a lot of fixes as well as some new features.

As MultiVersus enters its second week of open beta, its first official Season is on its way. Though we're just under a week away from Season 1's launch, fans still have plenty of questions regarding the Season 1 Battle Pass.
Today, MultiVersus director Tony Huynh responded to a fan's Tweet with some details about the game's Season 1 Battle Pass. According to Huynh, the pass will cost 950 Gleamium — the game's paid currency — and offer 50 tiers.
1000 Gleamium is equivalent to roughly $9.99, meaning the Season 1 Battle Pass will cost a bit less than $10.
Currently, the Preseason Battle Pass is running until August 8. It's much cheaper than the Season 1 Battle Pass at only 300 Gleamium, but it only has 15 tiers of character skins...
Employees at Bungie reportedly became the victims of harassment in June. The harassment would lead to the employees being doxxed and bombarded with racial slurs, phone calls, and text messages, and it reportedly began thanks to a tweet in celebration of working with a popular Destiny 2 player.

According to Bloomberg, the upcoming smartphone game had been in development for three years but has now been canceled due to a dispute between Activision Blizzard and NetEase.
“The two companies disagreed over terms and ultimately called a halt to the project, which had been kept under wraps,” said a source close to the deal.
