Cyberpunk 2077 will get the long promised FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR3) support at some point, developer CD Projekt Red has confirmed.
Speaking to IGN, the developer confirmed FSR3 — the latest iteration of AMD's supersampling technology which increases the frame rate of a game — would still be released despite announcing it no longer had a dedicated Cyberpunk 2077 team.
"We are still working on the FSR3 support for Cyberpunk 2077, but I do not have an update on its availability just yet," a CD Projekt Red spokesperson told IGN.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 launches today, May 29, and Activision has published the patch notes for fans to check out all the changes.
As detailed in a blog post, Season 4 brings with it a number of balance adjustments, gameplay improvements, and bug fixes.
Two new maps, Tokyo and Paris, are added at the launch of Season 4, with more Multiplayer maps (Incline and Das Gross) to come later in-season. New modes include Demolition, Hyper Cranked, Cache, Mutation, Headshots Only, and Havoc.

MultiVersus has finally launched fully after the open beta (which many didn't realize was an open beta) shut down in June 2023, and while its return has attracted more than 100,000 concurrent players on Steam alone, it's also sparked many complaints.
Data from player-tracking website SteamDB shows MultiVersus — the Warner Bros. brawler where Gizmo from Gremlins, Rick and Morty, Lebron James, Batman, Arya Stark, Bugs Bunny, Shaggy, Tom and Jerry, Jason, and more can all fight — hit a 24 hour peak of 114,515 concurrent players upon its May 28, 2024 launch day. It's a strong start for the free-to-play brawler on PC (Sony and Microsoft do not publish player numbers for PlayStation and Xbox.)

Warner Bros. Games has revealed gameplay for Homelander, the next DLC character for Mortal Kombat 1.
Homelander, who is based on the supervillain from Prime Video’s mega hit show The Boys, appears as a guest DLC character in NetherRealm’s gory fighting game, and based on the gameplay trailer below, the ‘evil Superman’ is a good fit.

Microsoft has confirmed the arrival of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 day-one on Xbox Game Pass.
In a post on Xbox Wire, Microsoft pointed fans to its Xbox Games Showcase event as well as its Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Direct on June 9, 2024, from 10am PT. There it will share more details on the game, with a first in-depth look at gameplay “in this dark new chapter” of the Black Ops series.

Sony has announced the return of its Days of Play promotion and with it bonus Game Catalog, PS VR2, and PS2 titles through PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium.
In a PlayStation Blog post, Sony said Days of Play 2024 runs from May 29 at 12:01am to June 12 at 11:59pm local time in each region.

The developer behind the controversial space sim makes revenue publicly available on its website, which at the time of this article’s publication shows Star Citizen has raised $701,186,615. CIG calls this money “funds raised.”

They can seem especially daunting when they’re a sequel to a predecessor built on as complex foundations as Frostpunk was. It's pleasantly surprising, then, that Frostpunk 2 feels so welcoming to new players. Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke has admitted the Baldur's Gate 3 team had "to crunch a bit" during development, meaning employees had to work overtime in order to finish the game on time.
As reported by Games Radar, Vincke said at the Digital Dragons conference that the amount of crunch required for Baldur's Gate 3 was less than the studio's previous games, however, and he thinks some overtime is always required to complete a game.
