Mortal Kombat 1 Players Are Starting to Discover Hidden Brutalities — Including One for Omni-Man

All Mortal Kombat 1 characters have Brutalities — unique moves that end a match in a particularly brutal fashion. They’re triggered by doing an extra input command on top of a specific combo ender or move that wins the final round. Most of the characters in the game have six brutalities, but players are starting to discover hidden brutalities, too.

Recently released DLC character Omni-Man has a secret brutality that’s in essence an alternate version of one of his existing brutalities. For detailed instructions, head over to IGN’s Mortal Kombat 1 how to do hidden brutalities guide. But in short, you need to perform Omni-Man’s 'You Got Boned' Brutality but hold down both triggers as you press down three times during the throw animation. Do this, and Omni-Man’s poor opponent will have their entire skeleton exposed. No, that’s not how skeletons work, but this is Omni-Man after all. He can kind of do what he wants.

That’s not all. Li Mei also has a hidden Brutality, an alternate version of her 'One Way Ticket' Brutality. Again, check out IGN’s Mortal Kombat 1 how to do hidden brutalities guide for detailed instructions, but it results in an explosive pop off-screen.

The hunt is now on to discover more hidden Brutalities, perhaps other alternate versions of existing Brutalities, or perhaps completely new Brutalities. Indeed, Mortal Kombat dataminer TheThiny has found evidence Omni-Man has a true secret fifth Brutality called Mustache that no-one seems to have discovered yet.

I checked, it's a secret brutality with no input yet. He also has a special mode, down back forward 2, that will turn off your Kameo and turn you into Terminator from MK11 when he dies.

In other Mortal Kombat 1 news, publisher Warner Bros. Games confirmed to IGN the price and release date for its Seasonal Fatality Bundle, which will feature unique Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Winter Fatalities. Warner Bros. has come under fire for its aggressive monetisation of Mortal Kombat 1, which includes the sale of Fatalities for real-world money.
