Have you ever written a webpage in javascript maqzek? I assure you "html4 nd js nd css" is NOT doing a good job. There is compatibility issues between browsers, there's large file sizes for flash content, there is constant errors due to trying to make code work with all browsers, HTML5 is projected for much earlier than 2020, and it is more than "bells nd whistls", it will replace flash, most javascript, and many other currently necessary addons. HTML5 will streamline writing websites (which is a vast majority of my job), and I for one and incredibly excited about this.

HTML5 is looking to be a good thing indeed, however I wonder what they will manage to break when its implemented (Nothing goes to plan 😛) I don't think the guys over at Flash would go without a fight, as they are working on "Molehill" 3D API and such.

html5 cant replac flash becuz it is totaly diferent, if u wud say CSS, JS nd HTML5 combind can replac flash, i cud beliv u but still, flash prety gud nd matur tech so is not goin away (unles ur 1 of thos ppl dat tinx flash is usd 4 video playrs only)

Maqzek, HTML5 has things such as the canvas element, which basically replaces flash. There are other things HTML5 can do, but I don't have the time to go into it. I suggest you upgrade your googling skills matey.

u sed html5 can do videoplayer, wel gues wat, it sux badly, i wud chos flash anyday, html5 can sux my dix til 2020, i can use flash n0w nd with hardware accelration, nd every1 has it so is not a problem with compatiblity,



as i sed, flash is very flexibl like Java, it can als0 run on mobile platorm, html5 wil ned sum browsrs with hw accel ON PHONES 2 compete wid flash on phons, becuz phons plae flash prety decnt n0w nd wil hav suport 4 hw accel flash dis year
