Saints Row is a series that originally started off as an alternative to Grand Theft Auto. It was gritty, aimed for a sense of realism, and was all about gang warfare in a city. However, as the series went on, it became more and […] The post All the Saints Row Games in Order appeared first on Green Man Gaming Blog. Continue reading...

While the MCU is still establishing a new overarching direction in the aftermath of Avenegrs: Endgame, it's safe to say Kang the Conquerer is going to be a big deal in the years ahead. Jonathan Majors debuted as a version of this iconic Marvel villain in the Season 1 finale of Loki, and the death of He Who Rmains merely sets the stage for more versions of Kang to plague the timeline. So the question is, now that Thanos is gone, how much of a role will Majors' character play in the MCU moving forward? We know Majors will play Kang in 2023's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and we even got our first look at Kang thanks to a Comic-Con poster. But even the next Ant-Man movie is just the beginning of Kang's story. If you're not...

Chun-Li will be able to do her classic taunt that has hit detection, as well. You can check out the classic designs below. Capcom also showed off Luke wearing streetwear. This version of the character is wearing shoes, which isn't the case for his default costume. Jamie, Luke's rival, also got an alternate costume, complete with a pretty sick chain. There was no announcement on if this DLC is paid...

Justin Roiland (Rick & Morty) and his developer Squanch Games have revealed a new comedy sci-fi shooter, High on Life. It will arrive on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC in October, and it looks wild. Revealed during the Xbox-Bethesda Summer Showcase, High On Life is an FPS that sees you playing a human high schooler who's quickly transformed into a galactic bounty hunter, using living guns to take down aliens – who have discovered that humans are the galaxy's greatest drug. Decisions you make along the way will affect the outcome of the storyline, and you'll have some handheld friends to help you make those choices, in the form of your weaponry. Each gun you use will have its own personality, and offer its own take on events as...
Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding director Hideo Kojima has taken to Twitter to share that he enjoyed 12 Minutes so much that it "kinda makes [him] want to create another adventure game." 12 Minutes is a time-loop mystery adventure game starring Willem Dafoe, James McAvoy, and Daisy Ridley that had Kojima saying he hasn't "been into a game this much since INSIDE." "Once you get used to the overhead view and the controls, you won't mind. It's a game using intelligence. It's like the Amiga games I used to play," Kojima wrote. "I still haven't cleared it yet, but it's fun. I'm afraid of Dafoe's visit!" Speaking of Dafoe, Kojima also says that, "even now, I feel like Dafoe is going to come in the front door in ten or so minutes...
At San Diego Comic-Con 2022 we got official confirmation that "Ultra Instinct Shaggy" meme is indeed canon. During a panel focusing on MultiVersus, the upcoming free-to-play crossover fighting game with characters from various properties owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, when asked about the meme, MultiVersus Game Director Tony Huynh confirmed that the meme had been added to the official canon. "While it's a meme, it's actually canon," Huynh said. "In the movie, there's that bar fight scene. There was the Mortal Kombat animated movie last year, and it was connected to that." The Mortal Kombat movie is referencing is Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms, in which Shaggy appears in the Warner Bros. Animation intro. The Ultra...
Yesterday, AMD uploaded a video on its official YouTube video revealing a new feature called "Voice Suppression," allowing users to filter background noise, Tom's Hardware reports. The leaked trailer mentions AMD Noise Suppression will use a "real-time deep learning algorithm" to provide users with "two-way noise-reduction" that will filter out background noise from both incoming and outgoing microphone audio. The video also suggests that Noise Suppression will be a new setting found in the Audio and Video Tab in the AMD Adrenaline driver. AMD has since removed the trailer from its YouTube channel, though Reddit user u/zenobian managed to download the trailer and post it on the AMD subreddit. AMD Noise Suppression sounds...
MultiVersus, the Smash Bros.-like Warner Bros. crossover fighter, has revealed new characters Rick Sanchez, Morty Smith, and LeBron James. Announced during a San Diego Comic-Con panel, the panel unveiled these characters along with a closer look at how LeBron controls in the game. While it seems jarring to put LeBron James, a real-life person and pro basketball player in the NBA, this would not be the first time we have seen a "fictionalized" version of him, which initially debuted in 2021's Space Jam: A New Legacy. The MultiVersus panel also confirmed that Morty Smith will join the roster on August 9th, while Rick Sanchez will be playable at a later date. LeBron James along with Rick and Morty join a roster that includes an...

Yesterday, Ubisoft announced that it delayed a "smaller unannounced premium game," though the title of the game was unknown. Now, a source has revealed that this game was Rift, the codename for an upcoming Assassin's Creed title. According to a report by Bloomberg, Assassin's Creed Rift was delayed from February to May or June because development was running behind schedule. Rift was originally planned as an expansion for the 2020 title Assassin's Creed Valhalla, though the project became a standalone game in late 2021 to add to the company's thin release schedule. While not much is known about the game, it's reportedly set in the Middle East and features a smaller scope with a focus on stealth gameplay. As pointed out by...

Not sure if you've noticed, but the Internet loves cats – so it's not a huge surprise that feline cyberpunk adventure Stray has already built up a modding scene just days after release. But no matter what you expected from Stray mods, you probably didn't think one of them would be based on Heavy Rain. Over on Nexus Mods, you can already find ways to reskin your playable cat in a number of styles (including looking a bit like Garfield, and with an eyepatch). But nestled among the many reshades is a mod simply called JASON by creator Gibrietas. JASON has a simple, perfect function – it replaces Stray's manual meowing with the sound of Heavy Rain protagonist Ethan Mars shouting for his lost son. I don't know why I think this is...
Tell me if you’ve heard this one before: a world of death-defying, die cast-inspired racing on life-sized toy tracks. A freeway-scale jumble of giant orange raceways, jumps, and loops across which you spill the contents of a dozen of the world’s greatest car museums. Actually you’ve definitely heard it before, because Playground Games did the same thing not all that long ago, in 2017’s much-loved Forza Horizon 3: Hot Wheels expansion. Sadly, that’s been delisted for some time now, so we’re all fortunate that Playground is putting the pedal to the Mattel all over again for its first expansion for Forza Horizon 5. Granted, driving supersized toy cars isn’t as surprising and novel as it was the first time around, but with the power of...

One of the biggest draws to Additional Orders will undoubtedly be a playable version of everyone's favorite nine-foot-tall villain, Lady Alcina Dimitrescu. When you become Lady Dimitrescu, you will be able to attack enemies with her horrifyingly long and sharp talons and a unique...
“I’ll be back” is one of the most iconic lines in movie history and it's all thanks to Arnold Schwarzenegger and the team bringing it and the Terminator franchise to life in 1984. Since then, the franchise has grown to six films, a TV series, web shows, video games, comics, and so much more. While the future of the Terminator film franchise is unclear, there’s never a bad time to watch or rewatch these legendary sci-fi movies that see humanity rising up against Skynet to prevent their extinction. However, there is a lot of time traveling and timeline resetting that happens in the films, so it can be hard to know how to watch them in the correct order. There are a few different ways you can, but it’s impossible to watch them in a full...

In the wake of the reveal of The Last of Us Part 1, a full remake of the original 2012 release for PlayStation 3, there were plenty of questions about how much it would actually change. But based on a new video released by Naughty Dog today, the answer is "plenty." The Last Of Us director Neil Druckmann was among those taking center stage to outline some of the biggest enhancements to the beloved classic, from graphical enhancements to improvements to accessibility. The team also outlined a host of new features, which include: A new Permadeath Mode A Speedrun Mode where players can time their runs Unlockable costumes for Joel and Ellie An enhanced Photo Mode A Model Viewer Mode That's on top of big changes to AI, graphics, and...
CD Projekt Red has admitted it included a few too many points of interest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Skellige map, but has also explained the reason why so many question marks filled the screen in the first place. Speaking during the developer's 20th anniversary stream, Witcher 4 campaign director Philipp Weber, who was a junior quest designer at the time, said that the various smugglers' caches — underwater chests sprinkled in the dozens throughout the oceans of Skellige — weren't actually introduced as points of interest at all. Given the extraordinary size of The Witcher 3's map, CD Projekt decided it needed something more than just quests upon quests to fill it. "I can admit freely I'm one of those people that actually put...
Today at San Diego Comic Con, WB revealed more details about Gotham Knights, including a new gameplay trailer featuring Batgirl. The trailer highlights Batgirl's combat, including her wrist blasters and a multi batarang throw. It also gave some insight into her character, with a focus on her desire to protect Gotham City regardless of what name that protection happens to go by. It concluded by announcing that anyone who pre-orders Gotham Knights now will receive a 233 Kustom Batcycle skin. The SDCC panel included appearances from creative director Patrick Redding, narrative director Anne Lemay, cinematics director Wilson Mui, Cinematics Director, America Young (Batgirl), and Christopher Sean (Nightwing). Comics writer Scott Snyder...
Iconic Batman villain The Joker won't be in WB Montreal's upcoming action RPG, Gotham Knights, according to creative director Patrick Redding speaking at a panel today at San Diego Comic Con. During a fan Q&A, Redding was asked if Joker was in the game, to which he responded no, but added, "I will not confirm or deny whether Harley is," indicating that Joker's clownish compatriot might make an appearance of some sort. Redding also confirmed that Batman is in fact "really dead" in Gotham Knights (he dies in the first ten minutes, setting up the plot), and remains dead at the end of the game. He also added that there is "exactly one" Riddler question mark in all of Gotham Knights. At this same panel, we also got a look at a new...
Today Wizards of the Coast revealed new details about Magic: The Gathering’s next set, Dominaria United. While the first hints of story were shared, the really surprising news is that some booster packs will contain original cards printed for the 1994 set Legends. In a video announcing the news, WOTC explained that it found sealed boxes of actual Legends booster packs in a warehouse and wanted to find a way to distribute those cards to players. As such, they decided to open the packs and insert these original printings into Collector boosters for Dominaria United as both a tie-in to Magic’s very first plane and a celebration of its history as the game approaches its 30th birthday. Many of the cards in Legends are extremely rare and...
Not only is Ubisoft delaying Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and another unannounced game, but it's also apparently flat-out canceling four whole titles in an attempt to cut costs and focus on its bigger names. Among those canceled games are both Ghost Recon Frontline and Splinter Cell VR. Ghost Recon Frontline's cancellation is a bit surprising, given that the game wasn't even actually out yet. It was first announced back in October as a free-to-play battle royale spin-off with 102-player battles. Initial reception was fairly negative, though, and a planned closed test of the game was indefinitely postponed. Now it seems like we'll never see it again. Splinter Cell VR is a bit less shocking. It was first announced way back in 2020...
Bandai Namco has announced that Dragon Ball: The Breakers will launch on October 14 for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. The game will be backward compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Dragon Ball: The Breakers is a multiplayer affair where a team of seven Survivors tries to escape one Raider. Survivors are regular civilians trapped in a Temporal Seam and must utilize their wits and gadgets to return home using the Super Time Machine. The Raider takes the form of a major Dragon Ball antagonist and must hunt down and eliminate the Survivors. Bandai Namco will also be running a closed network test on August 6 and 7 on all platforms. During this session, Cell and the newly announced Frieza will be playable...
