Arkane Austin has revealed that Redfall will feature a number of powerful bosses known as “vampire gods” that have trapped you in the Massachusetts town.
Speaking as part of the ‘Bringing Redfall to Life’ panel at Quakecon 2022, members of Arkane explained that the vampires in its upcoming open world game are not produced by a virus, but are instead the product of a biotech company. Aevum Laboratories came to the town of Redfall to research life extension and eventually created vampires.

Arkane has revealed that just one section of Redfall’s map is bigger in size than the entirety of Talos I, the space station setting of Prey.
Speaking as part of the ‘Bringing Redfall to Life’ panel at Quakecon 2022, Redfall’s art director, Karen Segars, said: “The Talos in Prey was five football fields. The size of Redfall is kinda ‘hold my beer’ on that one.”
To help explain just how large the Redfall open world is, Arkane Austin’s studio director, Harvey Smith, recalled a fun moment from earlier in development. “Jim McGill took Talos at scale and dropped it in the middle of the farm that’s [in Redfall’s second district area]. Activision is releasing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's single-player campaign more than a week early to those who digitally preorder the game.
Announced on the Call of Duty website, the promotion offers unrestricted access to Modern Warfare 2's campaign from October 20, well ahead of the official October 28 release date.
The early access is available through any digital preoder of the game, meaning on PS4 and PS5 through the PlayStation Store, on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S through the Microsoft Store, and on PC through either Steam or Battle.net.

EA accidentally listed its $99.99 FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition for the equivalent of six cents on the Indian Epic Games Store, and the publisher will actually honor the price for those who bought it quickly enough.

Startup developer Bonsai Collective has announced Luna Abyss, a new story-driven bullet-hell FPS set in the depths of a mysterious planet. Bonsai promises "an arsenal of weapons and advanced mobility and traversal mechanics" for players. Luna Abyss is in development for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. Final Fantasy producer Naoki Yoshida thinks revolutionary leaps in the video game industry are on the horizon.

Gotham Knights will allow players to co-op as the same character – but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll be doing the same things. Our latest IGN First drop shows gameplay of two versions of Red Hood with very different builds.
In the video, above, you'll see game director Geoff Ellenor explaining that using the game's multiple skill trees will allow players to create a range of playstyles for their chosen superheroes. In this case, Red Hood has been specced in two ways, with a focus on his Marksman and Brawler skill trees respectively.
The result is a version of the character who gains bonuses for using his nonlethal pistols at long range, and another built to grapple enemies and bring even the largest foes down with ease...
Final Fantasy 7 Remake's famous Honeybee Inn dance sequence took longer to prepare than any other scene in the game, according to co-director Motomu Toriyama.
In a Square Enix blog post, Toriyama explained that the sensitive nature of the original Final Fantasy 7 scene from 1997 - which saw protagonist Cloud crossdress in order to infiltrate a seedy playboy's mansion - alongside the intricacy of the dance sequence itself, led to an incredibly lengthy preparation time.
"We had decided to change the original FFVII's Honeybee Inn episode from a gender free perspective right from the start of development," Toriyama said. "We remade the whole scene as a song and dance show, in order to make it the big stage for Cloud's crossdressing event...

Iconic characters from Dragon Ball including Goku, Vegeta, Bluma, and Beerus are coming to Fortnite along with several Dragon Ball-themed, in-game activities that let you fly and fight as if you were a Super Saiyan.
Starting today, four Dragon Ball characters will be available in Fortnite alongside themed items such as the Power Pole Pickaxe, Kamesennin’s Staff Pickaxe, Nimbus Cloud Glider, Space Pod Glider, Charging Up Emote, Fusion Emote, and Boosting Ki Emote.
