When I first saw Superfuse in action earlier this year, I was mesmerized by its chunky, absolutely bonkers superpower creation engine – and that was back when it only had one character. Now that I’ve had a chance to revisit it again with an awesome new character, the long-ranged Elementalist, I’m even more impressed. Superfuse is an action-RPG in the same vein as Diablo, but with a comic book superhero flair that pushes the limits with how much you can customize your hero’s powers. And even if they’ve simplified some of those options in this latest build, it still had me freaking out over all the completely badass stuff it let me do.

The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Hogwarts Legacy have been delayed again to April 4, while the Nintendo Switch version will launch on July 25.
The game's official Twitter account posted the update (alongside the Switch date reveal, below) but didn't give a reason as to why the last-generation version had been delayed. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of Hogwarts Legacy are unaffected and will launch as planned on February 10.

Sonic frontiers has sold more than 2.5 million copies since its launch on November 6.
An official tweet from Sega (below) revealed the 2.5 million figure, which presumably takes into account units sold globally across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and PC platforms where the title is available.
Sega unveiled the 2023 roadmap for Sonic Frontiers earlier in November, showing that the open world action game would receive three updates throughout the year. These will bring new challenge modes, a photo mode, a new playable character, and fresh story content to the fast-paced adventure title.

Grand Theft Auto Online's Los Santos Drug War expansion is now available, bringing with it new story content, cars, and more.
This update, available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series, and PC, adds six main missions to GTA Online which act as the opening chapter of a new story arc.
With the incredibly Grand Theft Auto goal of setting up an acid lab in the back of what's essentially an armoured RV, players meet with Dax and his group of "hard-partying nonconformists" called the Fooliganz.
The group is looking to dominate the Blaine County drug trade, and it's the players job to get them there. Participating in these new missions will earn players double currency and RP rewards until December 22.

The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series has already launched on Steam and mobile devices, but it looks like the collection may be on its way to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
On Reddit, u/cefaluu shared screenshots from the ESRB's website highlighting listings for Final Fantasy one through six that add Nintendo Switch and PS4 to platform options. The original description for Final Fantasy 6 uploaded by Wario64 on Twitter only shows Windows PC.
Since the original Reddit post, it looks like the ESRB may have removed both consoles from all of the original Final Fantasy listings. As of IGN's review of the ESRB website, =all']searches for games like Final Fantasy 4 only yield results for versions of the RPG already out.

Microsoft has been making some big promises lately as it works to encourage regulators to permit its $69 billion acquistion of Activision Blizzard. Among those promises was a deal offered to Sony pledging that Call of Duty would remain available on PlayStation consoles for ten years - a deal that reportedly also includes PlayStation Plus rights.
As reported by Bloomberg, the rights to sell the title via Sony's PlayStation game subscription service were promised alongside Microsoft's previously-stated offer to Sony for ten years of Call of Duty on Sony hardware if the Activision Blizzard cquisition went through. Sony has yet to accept the offer, and has continued to raise concerns with the UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA)...
Sony suggests that players have at least 32GB of RAM when playing Returnal on PC, even though the minimum is 16GB.
First spotted by Wccftech, some of the specifications for Returnal’s PC port were posted on the game’s Steam page, including a hefty recommendation of at least 32GB of RAM. That's significantly more than even intensive games like Microsoft Flight Simulator, Elden Ring, and Cyberpunk 2077.

No one wants to get stuck with the wrong gaming accessories. While it may be fun for some gamers to see how far they can go by ditching their controllers and playing with a Guitar Hero controller or something even more inane, most of us will have a better time playing with good and proper gear. Xbox boss Phil Spencer has claimed that PlayStation’s move to block Microsoft's Activision Blizzard acquisition is rooted in its desire to “protect their dominance on console” by “making Xbox smaller”.
As reported by Eurogamer, Spencer told the Second Request podcast that Sony is just looking to retain its own dominance in the console market by opposing Xbox's acquisition of Activision Blizzard.

From the end of one world to the end of another, FromSoftware has a penchant for the apocalypse.
In an interview with IGN, Armored Core 6 concept creator Hidetaka Miyazaki and director Masaru Yamamura (who was previously lead designer on Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice) talked about the big Game Awards reveal and why FromSoftware seems drawn to the apocalypse setting for their games.

In 2019, Payday 2 publisher Starbreeze Studios was on the brink of going under. The studio was facing a lack of cash on-hand to keep the company running, causing leadership to sell off assets to various companies to help save Starbreeze Studios.

Early in the year, we got one of the most anticipated games of the year with Elden Ring. Its masterful design, art, and new approachability garnered praise from veterans of previous soulslike games and newcomers who had previously avoided the genre. Meanwhile, PlayStation released sequels for two of their biggest franchises, Horizon Forbidden West and God of War: Ragnarok. It was a fantastic treat for Playstation fans to mark the beginning and end of the year...
By their very competitive, dog-eat-dog nature, battle royale games don’t tend to be about making friends with the people you meet. But with its big 2.0 revamp, Call of Duty: Warzone has made some admirable efforts toward inspiring us to work together, communicate, and socialize even as we fight to be the last ones standing. Some of its other new ideas don’t pay off quite as well, such as the relatively bland new map and its ill-advised backpack system. But even if you put all of that aside, the introduction of an excellent new PvPvE mode is more than reason enough to round up a squad and drop back into Warzone for a few matches. It's a bad sign when there were more Muppets at The Game Awards than Xbox world premieres.
