Dark Horse Comics continues to expand on the characters and world of Cyberpunk 2077. The publisher recently debuted their newest spinoff comic, dubbed Cyberpunk 2077: Blackout, and now IGN can debut an exclusive preview of the second chapter.
Check out the slideshow gallery below for a closer look at Blackout #2, from writer Bartosz Sztybor and artist Roberto Ricci:
Blackout follows a beleaguered protagonist named Arturo, who works as a braindance repairman. The wealthy citizens of Night City pay good money for these customized dreams, but when a citywide blackout leaves all braindance machines on the fritz, Arturo finally snaps and hatches a scheme of his own. Can a technician who literally makes dreams come true launch the...
Bungie is reportedly working on a first-person shooter Destiny mobile game that has been in development for more than two years.
According to a report from The Game Post, the developer has partnered with Chinese tech company NetEase to create the game. An employee of NetEase apparently posted on LinkedIn saying that they had worked with Bungie to develop "an unannounced FPS mobile game".
This was supported by an anonymous source familiar with NetEase's development plans, who told The Game Post of the mobile game's existence. It will allegedly not be connected to Destiny 2 but instead be a standalone title.
Reports about a Destiny mobile game first surfaced in September 2021 following several jobs being advertised for the project...
While the world lacks a modern, official Avatar: The Last Airbender game, a new Elden Ring mod at least lets players pretend by adding firebending to the game.
As reported by PCGamesN, the firebending moveset mod from clevererraptor6 on Nexus Mods takes inspiration straight from the show, letting the player shoot fire from their finger tips, and even includes a "lightning generation" Ash of War for the most skilled fighters.
Available with the standard red flames or in Princess Azula's blue, the mod includes several different attacks depending on the input, and sound effects for each.
While pyromancy is already an established idea in Elden Ring, these attacks are directly inspired by the Avatar series and fans will recognise...
A brash blend of lightning-quick platforming, fast and frantic combat, and a peculiar, card-based resource system, Neon White is a slick and special speedrunning FPS that’s simple to understand but hard to put down. Think Doom Eternal’s platforming sections, only replace the grim hellscapes with the floating architecture of an abstract heaven and you’re part of the way there. Add a little of Trials HD trying to ride the perfect route over the corpse of Mirror’s Edge and you’ll be even closer. With its precise and elegant controls and its uncanny ability to make even an average shooter player feel lithe and lethal it’s extremely easy to get lured into Neon White’s loop, even if the story stitching it all together immediately overstays...
The best feature of video games are their power to completely and utterly distract. Today I've found some great discounts. Splash out on The Sinking City, Subnautica, BioShock or Abzû and forget your worries for a while.

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for its My Hero Academia battle royale game, My Hero Ultra Rumble, and announced a second beta.

The trailer (above) gives fans the first real look at the game following its announcement in January. The gameplay looks truly chaotic, as 24 characters use their hyper-colourful abilities to duke it out in the team-based battle royale.
Not only are there flashes of fire shooting...
Skyrim Together Reborn, a new and improved co-operative mod for Skyrim is being released later this week, on July 8.
Skyrim Together Reborn allows up to eight players to play Skyrim together, with more or less everything in the game synced up. Quests, the contents of chests, audio and subtitled dialogue and much more are fully synced between players' games, and PvP can even be enabled if wanted.
As reported by PC Gamer, the mod from Tilted Online is a remaster of sorts of the modding team's previous version of the mod, simply called Skyrim Together, but this new version was built from the ground up and features vast improvements.
That's not to say it will work flawlessly though, as the team noted in a Reddit post that it's...
New Call of Duty images have leaked online that, among other things, appear to hint at Black Ops 5 being 2024's installment for the FPS series.
The images were reportedly mined from a recent Warzone Mobile update by Twitter user RealiityUK (who has since been suspended from the social media platform). The images are currently viewable on ResetEra (we won't be reposting them here), and are seemingly a mix of shots from the upcoming Modern Warfare 2, and a new game in development at Black Ops developer Treyarch.
Thought to be loading screens for upcoming Call of Duty projects, the two images that really got everyone’s attention are labeled “Stealth” and “Pillage” – which apparently stem from the upcoming Call of Duty game due for...
Guardians of the Galaxy and Deus Ex prequel writer Mary DeMarle has joined Mass Effect and Dragon Age developer BioWare.
As reported by VGC, DeMarle had previously spent more than 14 years at Eidos-Montréal, where she was the narrative director and lead writer on Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Deus Ex: Mankind Dividided. Most recently she created the story of 2021's Guardians of the Galaxy, which won Best Narrative at the Game Awards last year.
DeMarle announced the switch to BioWare on her LinkedIn page, revealing her new position as senior narrative director. It's unclear what games DeMarle will be working on, but we know that BioWare is currently developing Dragon Age: Dreadwolf and a new Mass Effect game (the latter of which would...

Given local rainfall has been 3 month's worth in two days—and my youngest is thinking about using the PS5 as a skimboard to cross our living room—I'll be brief. On this, the rainiest of days during school holidays, you're going to want a bunch of games to keep yourself sane. I've collected a few worth owning below. Best secure/order them before the next trick happens: power outage. Or locusts. I forget the order.

Final Fantasy 14's upcoming Patch 6.2, which is titled Buried Memory, will add the long-awaited Island Sanctuary that will allow players to gather materials, build facilities, care for creatures, and much more on their very own island.
Revealed during the latest Letter from the Producer LIVE broadcast for Final Fantasy 14, Island Sanctuary very much sounds like it takes inspiration from games like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley and it is being described as "relaxing solo content" that required no previous crafting or gathering experience.
Island Sanctuary was announced in 2021 and Final Fantasy 14 director Naoki Yoshida shared a bit more about what players can expect from this content.

Despite food playing such a big role in Minecraft, few people go out of their way to design a fully furnished kitchen for their homes. Whilst they don’t serve any literal functional purpose, it does allow for a higher level of RP, and also means that you can dedicate specific areas of your home to certain tasks. Do you want to have visitors and host people over a long table, GoT style? Do you want a basic, cute kitchen all to yourself?
As you plan out a kitchen design, your choice will depend on what matters most to you, such as lighting, aesthetic, size and location. From medieval tables for a traditional Minecraft theme to outdoor buffets to fulfill a tropical vibe, this list showcases a great mix of options. Whether you're a new...

Casting ‘magic’ in the Warhammer 40,000 universe is incredibly risky business. A psyker (see: space wizard) must draw their power from the Warp, a volatile dimension that’s home to daemons and chaotic gods. As such, every spell, no matter how trivial or powerful, comes with the chance of injury, insanity, demonic possession, or death. In Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, the upcoming RPG from Owlcat Games, you’ll have to weigh up that risk every time you consider eviscerating a foe with your mind.
Perils of the Warp, the system that governs whether your head explodes or you live to cast another day, is one of Alexander Gusev’s favorite mechanics from 2009’s Rogue Trader, a tabletop RPG set in the grimdark future of the 41st millenium...
A joke made by EA's official Twitter account making fun of single player games did not go well for the company – and the internet's reaction forced the company to address its mistake.
Getting on board with a popular meme, EA tweeted (below) "they're a 10 but they only like playing single-player games". The tweet in itself was a little odd, given that EA itself publishes plenty of single player games including Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and The Sims 4, but what started as perhaps just a poorly-chosen joke escalated once the post gained traction.
Twitter users, including the head of EA's Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella, YouTuber Jacksepticeye, and the Game Awards host Geoff Keighley all shared in...
Cardy, Joe, and Matt have convened to build the best RPGs ever as 30 different games are picked and dreams and horrors come to life. Taking turns they pick everything from combat and music to location and party members as things get increasingly more tense and borderline angry. It’s all good fun, though.
Before that, there are reminders as to why you should be watching Atlanta and The Boys if you aren’t already, as well as why you should be excited about Cult of the Lamb. Joe also audibly salivates at the thought of a beefy pie.

The team behind Fallout 4's DLC-sized mod, Fallout London, has certainly caught the eye of Bethesda as the developer keeps offering its members jobs.
The Fallout London Twitter page shared an update (below), which explained that lead technical adviser Ryan Johnson would be leaving the modding team to start working for Bethesda. This marks the second time (that we know of) the developer has hired straight from the Fallout London team after lead writer, Stephanie Zachariadis was also hired by Bethesda in August 2021.
Not only that, but Fallout London's project manager Dean Carter was also offered a position at Bethesda's UK office to work on Fallout 76, though they declined in order to see the mod's development through to the end...
One of the fundamental parts of your Minecraft experience is building your forever home. You might be focused on the basics, such as building cute houses (we see you, cottagecore), and simplicity may be key for you. On the other hand, you could be the type to continually expand and use your home as a canvas to display the extent of your travels. Either way, if and when you're stumped for ideas on how to add a flourish to the bland and stereotypical wooden four walls approach, you can start here from our list of 8 favorite Minecraft House builds.
If you're just starting out, here are three simple starter house bases to consider:

Below you'll find some of our top Minecraft house ideas; from simple and cute...
The following incredible Minecraft builds come from the rich world of Harry Potter. Hogsmeade, Azkaban and of course plenty of amazing renditions of Hogwarts itself have all been faithfully recreated by Harry Potter superfans. Is this list from 2012? Maybe. Is it still cool? Definitely.
1. Harry as Pixel Art (Cute!)
2. More Pixel Art! Dumbledore and Fawkes
3. Weasley’s House, The Burrow
A faithful recreation of the Weasley’s eccentric house is still one of the most impressive Harry Potter builds in Minecraft today.
4. Quidditch Pitch!
5. The Room of Requirement
6. The Picturesque Hogsmeade Village, But Make it Blocky
7. Azkaban
The massive recreation of Azkaban has lots of imaginative details, like the pumpkin head...
It’s a new era for the world of Formula 1, with some of the biggest changes seen in the sport in four decades shaking up not only the status quo, but also the spines of the drivers as teams wrestle to rein in the engineering quirks of this year’s new cars. Codemasters has followed suit with F1 22, stopping short of infusing this season’s back-busting porpoising phenomenon into its handling model but tinkering just enough with its reliably robust annual racer that it does feel sufficiently refreshed in a number of the right areas – even if the overall package is bound to be a pretty familiar one to returning fans.
Rest assured, there is more to F1 22 than simply a stable of the latest cars and the new Miami circuit. Visually it’s...
Since Skate 3’s release over 12 years ago, fans and newcomers alike have eagerly awaited the release of Skate 4 (also known as skate.). Though it’s been almost a year since Full Circle's last update, the newly-formed team wants players to know that they're “still working on it.”
Today, the team released a trailer for the game showing footage of the game’s various prototypes (or, as the trailer puts it, “pre-pre-pre-alpha” versions).
The trailer is noticeably transparent about the game development process, giving players a glimpse of various processes like character rigging and dealing with bugs, though there are a few segments of gameplay with more polished graphics to show players what the game's future might have in store

Sabotage Studio has announced that it would be delaying Sea of Stars from its original 2022 release window to sometime in 2023.
“As we are closing in on a very big milestone the road to launch become clearer, and we find ourselves here with a large body of text and our logos at the bottom,” Sabotage says in a statement. “Keeping in mind our two main priorities—quality of life for our team and quality of the finished game—we can now confirm that Sea of Tars will be released in 2023.”
“We understand waiting is a big ask, and want to sincerely thank you community for the overwhelming support and positive vibes,” continues Sabotage. “In the meantime, we are looking at options to get a playable slice out to everyone this year.”
