Team Fortress 2 players have gotten creative in the fight against the shooter's rampant bot problem by turning a 340,000 signature strong petition into an actual book and delivering it to Valve headquarters.
PC Gamer reported on the post from @thewhat89 on X/Twitter, which unveiled the hardback book in a fancy promotional video.
"340,000 plus names all compiled into one book," the post said. "This is a symbol of the astounding amount of people that love TF2 and want to see it flourish. This book has now reached its destination at Valve HQ. The future is looking bright for TF2. Thanks for taking part, everyone."

In a statement given to CharlieIntel, Activision said the many Call of Duty developers working on the game are focused on its October 25, 2024 launch.
Activision has released campaign early access for those who pre-ordered recent Call of Duty games, including last year's poorly received Modern Warfare 3 campaign. The early access periods generally began a week before the full launch, offering fans the chance to play through the story so they can hit Multiplayer and Zombies right off the bat.

Valve shooter Deadlock already has a cheater problem, with clips posted online showing players curving bullets around walls, automatically targeting enemies, and more.
As reported by 80 Level, Reddit user MintDoe posted a game replay which appears to show myriad cheaters participating in a Deadlock match. The clip opens with the accused perfectly timing a jump to avoid an unseen Lightning Ball before opening fire immediately upon a wall where their opponents emerge from.

Star Wars Outlaws is set for a patch to address the game's controversial instant fail stealth missions, its chief developer has said.
Creative director Julian Gerighty admitted to GamesRadar the missions were "incredibly punishing" so would be fixed soon. "For me, that is a mistake, and this is something that we're going to work on improving," he said.

One issue in particular is creating an awkward situation between players before they set out on a co-op mission — so awkward in fact that it’s making simply playing the class you want more frustrating than it should be.
