X/Twitter will have to comply with a subpeona regarding the identities of several Genshin Impact leaker accounts after a federal judge ruled against the social media platform's attempt to throw it out.
The news comes from Torrent Freak and Stephen Totilo's Game File newsletter, detailing the latest in miHoYo's crackdown on leakers. Cognosphere, the miHoYo-owned publisher of Genshin Impact, filed the subpeona last fall, attempting to force X Corp. to “disclose the identity, including the name(s), address(es), telephone number(s), and e-mail addresses(es)” behind four popular leaker accounts: @HutaoLoverGI, @GIHutaoLover, @HutaoLover77, and @FurinaaLover.

Sega has announced that it'll host the fourth annual Sonic Central presentation tomorrow, giving fans a glimpse into some of what's to come in the Sonic the Hedgehog world.

PC Gamer spotted the work-in-progress mod from tinybike on YouTube, and described it as a "very very very rough draft." It does what it says on the tin though, letting players run into Baldur's Gate 3 combat and cast spells as quick as their fingers will allow, instead of having to wait their turn.

The developer behind the 30 million-selling farm life simulation game said in a tweet that 1.6 hits console and mobile on November 4, 2024. That’s for all console and mobile versions of the game, including the Nintendo Switch version, and includes the 1.6.9 update.

Speaking exclusively to IGN as part of a sweeping post-launch interview just over two weeks after Space Marine 2’s record-breaking launch, Saber Interactive Chief Creative Officer Tim Willits said the success of the game would even positively affect its future projects.

Following Sony’s shock decision to haul live service hero shooter Concord offline two weeks after launch, its game director has reportedly stepped down with some staff concerned about the future of the studio.
Kotaku reports that Ryan Ellis, who has served as Concord’s game director since January 2018, has told staff he has stepped down from the role and into a support function.
Ellis’ name was attached to the statement published on the PlayStation Blog that announced Concord would be taken offline. As spotted by Eurogamer, a new trailer released on the PlayStation YouTube channel shows Bloober’s long-awaited remake won’t launch on “other formats” until October 8, 2025 at the earliest. Silent Hill 2 launches on PC and PS5 on October 8, 2024.
