Hunters, rejoice! Capcom is slashing the price of Monster Hunter Wilds and introducing new DLC bundles — but certain versions of the game are disappearing.
Starting August 4, the Monster Hunter Wilds Deluxe Edition, the Monster Hunter Wilds Premium Deluxe Edition, and the Monster Hunter Wilds Cosmetic DLC Pass will no longer be available for purchase.
However, this means that new bundles are on the way. Monster Hunter Wilds Gold Edition, the Monster Hunter Wilds Cosmetic DLC Collection, and the Monster hunter Wilds Extras Cosmetic DLC Pack are entering the fray with content from both the main game and DLC collections, as revealed by the game's official X account on July 13.

Steam just had its most profitable period in its entire 22-year history, raking in $11 billion in the last six months — and it's mostly thanks to older games.
As shown in data aggregated by Alinea Analytics, this figure rivals what the platform grossed in the whole of 2020 during the peak of the pandemic ($7.2 billion), and much of it was due to purchases of older video games.
In fact, only 21% of purchases from January - June were for titles released in 2026. That means a whopping 79% of games bought by players were from 2025 or older. This trend has only been increasing in recent years, with just 29% of 2024 revenue coming from games released that year, and 27% in 2025 from that year’s titles.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced's controversial $85 collection of day one DLC earned Ubisoft an extra $1 million on Steam, it's been reported.
That's according to Alinea Analytics' Rhys Elliott, who has published detailed sales information for the game's PC release. Ubisoft itself has officially trumpeted 2 million sales of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced across all platforms in just 24 hours.
While the game itself has been warmly received, fans have been less impressed by its optional extra packs, which total a collective $85 — more than the game itself.

Activision has clarified that its recently released Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 ports do in fact support crossplay between PS4 and PS5, following confusion from players online.
The official Call of Duty Update X/Twitter account confirmed how the feature works amid a flurry of posts from fans across social media.
