Rumbleverse is a New Brawler Take on Battle Royale

Iron Galaxy and Epic Games have announced Rumbleverse, a free-to-play “Brawler Royale” in which 40 players drop into a map and duke it out in melee brawls.

Revealed as part of The Game Awards 2021, Rumbleverse starts with you being launched out of a cannon and into Grapital City. There, you can jump across skyscraper rooftops to discover crates containing weapons, upgrades, new moves, and perks. These can all be then used to fight for glory.

In addition to in-match finds, Rumbleverse also has a collection of hundreds of items as part of its avatar customisation, allowing you to create a unique fighter who can be seen through the chaos of battle.

“We wanted to build a big, hilarious playground where spectacular things are always happening,” says Iron Galaxy Co-CEO Adam Boyes. “Rumbleverse combines our love for melee combat with the teamwork and player expression that have made games such a crucial source of human interaction."

A first look at Rumbleverse gameplay will be held on December 10 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Only a select number of players will be able to play, so if you want to duke it out in a few matches then you can sign up at the Rumbleverse website.

Early access for Rumbleverse will open on February 8, 2022 on PC via the Epic Games Store, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. Full crossplay and cross-progression support will be available.
