Friends vs. Friends, a new game from publisher Raw Fury, has been announced at Gamescom Opening Night Live.
The brightly-coloured, animal-packed trailer was mostly animated, but showed a quick glimpse of unsual gameplay. It appears to be some kind of cel-shaded first person shooter, but with a card deck-based ability system. Cards include a variety of weapons but also abilities like 'Nuke' and 'Mind Blown', suggesting a variety of bonkers methods of destroying your foes.
From the card+FPS action angle, recent indie darling Neon White immediately comes to mind, but it's as yet unclear how the whole thing works.
Friends vs. Friends is being developed by Brainwash Gang, and is planned for release on PC and consoles.
