@M1 I know right. We need some kind of strange logical puzzle to do with computer maintenance. Ooh how about this. What is both the name, and maths behind the trend which is increasing CPU speed?
So..you really don't know what you're doing? Seriously, go back to uni, or college, or whatever the hell you guys have. This industry is plagued by people who know just enough to be dangerous, it annoys the shit out of me every day at work.
Hey i just graduated High School i had computer maint. sophmore and jr year im starting college in the spring
I only have a HS diploma at the moment and never really had an official class on computers and I know it. ^_^ Edit: I forgot I did two years of college/university level Electronics in High School, Never mind ^_^
Computer Maint. in High Schools doesn't count. You don't learn shit in High School. You're talking with people that literally live, eat, and breathe computers. I work as a technical specialist in security systems, mainly dealing with IP-based protocols. Noodle goes to University doing Computer Science. tl;dr I'm a nerd, you're a geek.
wow plus wat 40 min a day and half tht time we didnt do shit but sit there and just get completely off topic lol the teachers name wat Mr. Potts xD --- merged: Oct 10, 2011 at 5:12 AM --- I said tht from the beginning lol im still learning geez o.o
Noo.... I said Meaning Noodle, M1, Myself, Echo, feildmaster, etc You said I didn't call you a nerd, I called myself a nerd.
oh my bad lol ill be there one day still gots alot learning to do lol, also u may wanna change ur signature didnt the amount go up per vote?
Chromid, Imma let you finish, but... I love how you two are discussing the differences between a geek and a nerd, and I'm like "yayz mah nick is correct!" the entire time, and then understanding I will probably never be a true nerd(by Woody's standards, anyways), because I know just enough to be dangerous, but still want to learn. Also, why will I never be a true nerd? I hope to be an engineer, and not a software kind.
