Sonic 2022 May Be Called Sonic Frontiers

Sega recently filed new trademarks for a number of its franchises including one for a game called Sonic Frontiers, which may well be the name for Sonic's mysterious 2022 entry. As reported by Gematsu, the video games publisher filed a number of new trademarks last month, including a move to secure a trademark in both Japanese and English for a new game called Sonic Frontiers - a move that has prompted speculation around its still-unnamed upcoming Sonic project. While the publisher hasn't stated the purpose of the trademark, it is possible that it could be the name of the new Sonic Team game currently in development by the studio. Scorn Director Apologises After 'Hostile' Delay Statement

Ljubomir Peklar, the creative director for Scorn, has publicly apologized following a "hostile" update sent out about the game's delay. In an update to Kickstarter backers, the creative director and EbbSoftware CEO apologized to fans and took full responsibility for the update being posted. "I quickly and haphazardly read through the draft of the update and in all my wisdom approved it," said Peklar. "Reading through again it was clear that the hostile tone it was written in should not be how we should express ideas or plans to people that help us out. Back 4 Blood Roadmap Reveals New Co-Op Mode, Difficulty, And Solo Offline Release Timing

Back 4 Blood is going to get a bunch of new features starting in December and into 2022. These include heavily-requested features like a new co-op mode, new difficulty level, and even an offline mode. Fortnite Pulls the Travis Scott Emote After Astroworld Concert Tragedy

Epic has removed the Travis Scott "Out West" dance emote from Fortnite following the rap star's deadly Astroworld concert in Houston, Texas, which killed 8 people. Epic went so far as to temporarily disable the Fortnite item shop's Daily section, which rotates skins and other cosmetics and emotes on a regular basis. It's believed that Scott's emote was meant to be included in the latest update. The official Fortnite Status Twitter account later confirmed the Daily section's removal but did not mention Scott or his emote by name. Here's What the GTA Trilogy Looks Like on Nintendo Switch

Rockstar has released a number of screenshots for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy on Nintendo Switch ahead of the game's release later this week. The screenshots, which can be found on the Switch section of Rockstar's GTA Trilogy page, show off a range of different remastered scenes from across the three games included in the package. Overwatch League Pro Kim "Alarm" Kyeong-Bo Dies, Aged 20

Overwatch League pro and Philadelphia Fusion member Kim "Alarm" Kyeong-Bo has died aged 20. Kim's passing was announced on the Philadelphia Fusion Twitter page. A cause of death has not been provided. "We are devastated and heartbroken to hear about Kim 'Alarm' Kyeong-Bo's passing," a statement from the team reads. "Alarm was the heart and soul of our organisation, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends as we mourn this tragic loss. Elden Ring Will Run 'Up To' 60 FPS on New-Gen Consoles and PC

Bandai Namco has said that Elden Ring players can expect to see the game run at 'up to' 60 FPS on new-generation consoles and PC when it launches in February. The publisher confirmed some of the game's performance features on the Edlen Ring website. Perhaps to the disappointment of some players, the game's framerate on PC won't be uncapped at launch and instead will be limited to 60 FPS. According to the publisher, new-generation consoles will also be able to reach up to 60 FPS, though that does come with a small caveat. Elden Ring: Five Classes Revealed Ahead of Closed Network Test

Five of Elden Ring's playable classes - Warrior, Enchanted Knight, Prophet, Champion, and Bloody Wolf - have been revealed ahead of its closed network test from November 12-14. The official Elden Ring Twitter account shared these class names and some images of what your character would look like should you choose them when the game is released on February 25, 2022. There is no mention as to if these are the only classes that will be available at launch, and no further details are given for any of the classes. Rockstar Games has announced that those who pre-order Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition through the Microsoft Store or Nintendo eShop can now pre-load the game ahead of its launch on November 11. Forza Horizon 5 contains a ton of wonderful accessibility features to help make the game as inclusive as possible, and a post-launch update will add another great one - an on-screen sign language interpreter that will sign either American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) during the game's cinematics. Bethesda has finally revealed how much The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition will cost, alongside how much it will be to upgrade from Skyrim Special Edition on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The Update That Makes eFootball a Full Game Has Been Delayed to 2022

Konami has delayed the 1.0.0 update for eFootball from November 10 until Spring 2022 – effectively pushing back the launch of the full version of the game. Announced on the eFootball website, the developer says that it "concluded that more time is needed to deliver the product in the quality that will meet the expectations of our users and have decided to postpone the delivery."
