Babylon's Fall Review

It is difficult for a game to be truly uninteresting. It requires an unlikely convergence of events to perfectly thread the needle between good and terrible to create something remarkably unremarkable; functional and largely inoffensive, but also joyless and flat. Babylon’s Fall is one such convergence: The generic dark fantasy storyline is pointless, and the worst-in-class textures and character models suck any visual appeal out of what could have been an interesting painted-canvas art style. Lost Ark Devs are Working on Solutions for Gender-Locked Classes and Revealing Outfits

Amazon Games will slowly but surely open up Lost Ark's gender-locked classes. Classes are currently locked to specific genders, meaning only men can be warriors, only women can be mages, and so on, but franchise lead Soomin Park told Eurogamer that this will change over time. He said: "Classes are tied pretty closely to their character models in terms of function and animation, so bringing opposite gender characters to a class takes more work than just making a differently gendered model available." Rockstar has offered more details about GTA Online's new Career Builder tool, which will let new players jump more smoothly into the game on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Revealed alongside pre-loading for the new console versions going live, Career Builder effectively allows players to start a new Online account with a number of perks that might otherwise have taken considerable time (or some real-life money) to unlock, keeping them on something of a par with existing players. Massive Itch.io Bundle Offers Almost 1,000 Items for $10 to Support Ukraine

The new-gen versions of GTA 5 and GTA Online are coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 15, and you can pre-load the game right now if you preorder digitally through either the PlayStation 5 console store or Microsoft Store. Those on PS5 will be able to get GTA 5+GTA Online for $9.99 USD / £8.75 / $14.99 AUD for the first three months after launch. Lost Ark Passes 20 Million Players

Lost Ark has now amassed more than 20 million players, with half coming from its western release last month. Western publisher Amazon Games and developer Smilegate RPG announced that more than 4.7 million new players joined within three days of Lost Ark's release in North and South America, Europe, and Australia, and that number has now grown to more than 10 million. The game launched in South Korea back in 2019, where it amassed a huge following well before its western release. In the wake of Steam Deck's release last week, many fans are waiting anxiously for the email giving them the greenlight to order a unit of their own. After months of waiting, Battlefield 2042 players finally have a scoreboard to help keep track of kills, assists, deaths, and more in-game stats. Valve recently sent out the second batch of emails to those that are expected to order a Steam Deck in Q1 2022. Microsoft Says Mouse and Keyboard Support for xCloud is Coming

Mouse and keyboard support is finally coming to xCloud, according to the head of Microsoft Flight Simulator. In a developer Q&A spotted by Windows Central, Jorg Neumann confirmed the feature was coming to Microsoft's cloud streaming platform likely within the next few months. Mouse and keyboard support has been a long-requested feature of xCloud, which currently only natively supports playing with a gamepad, or with touch controls on mobile. The team behind Lost Ark has announced that, on March 4, it permanently removed "over a million illegitimate accounts" from the game that were running bots.
