Alongside an action-packed and story-filled trailer, Ubisoft has revealed that Star Wars Outlaws will officially be released on August 30, 2024.
Star Wars Outlaws, which is set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, puts players in the shoes of a scoundrel named Kay Vess during a "golden age for the Underworld."
In the trailer, this golden age was proclaimed by the crime lord Sliro of the Zerek Besh syndicate to the other groups like the Pykes, Crimson Dawn, and Hutts. He continues by saying, "The Empire controls every corner of the galaxy, but they're distracted by a Rebellion that won't quit. It's an opportunity to make millions."

EA has insisted its Iron Man game is still in the works after adding developer Motive to the list of owned studios working on the Battlefield franchise.
Motive studio general manager Patrick Klaus said a “group” of developers from the Montreal-based Motive are joining Criterion, DICE, and Ripple Effect “to continue unlocking the full potential of Battlefield.” This group includes the directors who worked on Motive’s 2023 Dead Space remake: Philippe Ducharme (Executive Producer) and Roman Campos-Oriola (Creative Director). With the Connected Battlefield Universe's development now in full swing, EA announced today that Battlefield 2042 Season 7 will officially be its last.

As reported by Engadget, developer Black Salt Games and media company Story Kitchen announced the live action film but didn't give much away beyond a brief synopsis.
"Think The Sixth Sense on the water," it begins, referencing the 1999 Bruce Willis horror mystery film. "A grounded atmospheric cosmic horror blend of HP Lovecraft and Ernest Hemingway." No release window for the Dredge film was shared.
This isn't Story Kitchen's first video game project, as it's also behind adaptations of Sifu and Vampire Survivors, which are getting a live action film and animated series respectfully.

As reported by Gematsu, the description of the Ubisoft Japan YouTube video for the new Star Wars Outlaws trailer set to go live at 9am PT today, April 9, confirms the release date of August 30, 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.
The YouTube description, now offline along with the video itself, also confirmed a Gold and Ultimate Edition of the game, which comes with a Season Pass and three days of early access. Pre-order bonuses include the Kessel Runner Bonus Pack, which includes cosmetics for the Trailblazer spaceship and speeder.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is the latest franchise to collaborate with ever popular battle royale Fortnite as content based on the beloved animated series arrives in store today, April 9.
Revealed in a post on X/Twitter, below, a handful of main characters from the show will be available in the Fortnite Shop, but interestingly not the last airbender himself. Fortnite leaker Shiina suggested Aang will be included as part of an Event Pass later instead of being immediately purchasable.

Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead has released update 01.000.202 and via the patch notes confirmed it addresses general game stability and crashes. But as the Helldivers 2 community anxiously awaits what’s next for the game following the apparent eradication of the Automatons, players are wondering what secrets the update may hold.
Let’s start with what we know. Update 01.000.202 tweaks stats user interface for weapons to take into account any explosive damage done by them. According to Arrowhead,this is to give weapons that do damage with explosive projectiles a more fair representation in the UI. Most notably affected is the PLAS-1 Scorcher, the developer added.
