Warner Bros. Games has officially acquired Player First Games, adding the developer behind MultiVersus to its profile.
In an official release sent to IGN, Warner Bros. confirmed that co-founder Tony Huynh and Chris White will retain leadership of the studio, which has led development of the popular Smash Bros-like brawler. Multiversus officially launched in May following early access and open beta releases throughout 2022 and 2023.

Terry was previously revealed as the second DLC fighter of Street Fighter 6's Year 2 and he will be available in World Tour, Battle Hub, and Fighting Ground when he arrives in autumn 2024.

MultiVersus Season 2: Back in Time will see the addition of Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice and it will arrive on July 23, which is the same time the game will be getting its long-awaited Ranked Mode.

Bethesda Game Studios is officially the first Microsoft game developer to full unionize under the Communication Workers of America (CWA), forming a "wall-to-wall" union of developers including artists, engineers, programmers and designers. Microsoft has recognized the union.

When Ian Proulx and his colleagues at 1047 fully released Splitgate in 2021, his expectations for the “Halo with Portals” multiplayer shooter were fully in check. He expected it to do well enough over time, and was hoping for slow and steady growth. At the time, 1047 consisted of less than 20 individuals, and only four engineers.
