Star Citizen Exploit Crackdown Leads to Over 600 Account Bans

Star Citizen developer Cloud Imperium Games (CIG) has announced that it has suspended more than 600 in-game accounts following widespread complaints of cheating. The developer revealed the move in a post on its Robert Space Industries website, saying that it has suspended accounts that participated in exploitative behavior following an investigation. Affected players are said to have manipulated Star Citizen’s systems to duplicate items and gain more of its in-game currency, Alpha United Earth Credits (aUEC). All aUEC gained using these methods have been removed from the ecosystem. EA Sports Details Boom Tech, the One Big Gameplay Feature Debuting in Madden NFL 25

Madden NFL 25's cover athlete was revealed earlier this week, and today, EA has provided new details on what fans can expect from this year's Madden, including Boom Tech, this year's one big feature. In a press release, EA revealed that Boom Tech is a new "dynamic physics-based" tackling system and the newest iteration of Maddens FieldSense technology that "unlocks the re-engineered Hit Stick" and should provide better ball carrier control. With Christian McCaffrey as this year's cover athlete, the description of Boom Tech aligns with EA's theme of trying to pick cover athletes that best fit the new editions coming to Madden in a given year. Path of Exile 2 Gets Better Every Time I Play It

I’ve had the opportunity to play Path of Exile 2 several times throughout its development cycle, and there’s one thought I had after my latest session: this action-RPG keeps getting better every time I play it. Madden NFL 25's Franchise Mode Is Bringing Back Team Builder and Revamping the NFL Draft

EA has shared more details about Madden NFL 25, including new additions coming to Franchise Mode, including rebuilding the NFL Draft and returning Team Builder. EA revealed that Franchise Mode is being "recharged" in a multitude of ways. Most notably, it brings back Team Builder in this particular mode. Introduced originally in Madden NFL 2002, Team Builder allows players to build a team they want. You can create every player on your roster and pick the team colors, uniforms, and stadium. Warcraft General Manager John Hight Leaves Blizzard After 12 Years

After 12 years at the company, Warcraft general manager and SVP John Hight is departing the company for an unknown new endeavor. In a post on Twitter/X today, Hight announced his departure, thanking the community for its support: Hight joined Blizzard in 2011 as executive producer and VP on World of Warcraft, before being promoted to Warcraft GM in 2021. During his tenure, he oversaw the launches of Mists of Pandaria, Warlords of Draenor, Legion, Battle for Azeroth, Shadowlands, and Dragonflight. Elden Ring Reaches 25 Million Units Sold Ahead of Shadow of the Erdtree

Elden Ring has sold 25 million units ahead of its expansion Shadow of the Erdtree launching on June 21, 2024, developer FromSoftware has announced. In a post on X/Twitter, the colossal 25 million units sold milestone was revealed alongside a thank you to fans who have purchased the game. Elden Ring publisher Bandai Namco announced the game crossed 23 million units sold in March 2024, meaning it's grown another two million in less than three months. Earlier this week, I had the chance to go hands-on with LEGO Horizon Adventures. Alongside all my other praise for this game, I really loved the immense level of detail put into making each and every LEGO brick component.
