Bully launches on GTA+ today, August 20, and after various new ratings for the game caused some to wonder if a new version was on the cards, Rockstar has now confirmed that is not the case.
In a post on its support website, Rockstar revealed the differences between the versions of Bully included with GTA+ on each platform. PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 subscribers get the original PlayStation 2 version via an emulator, while Xbox Series X and S and Xbox One subscribers get the Scholarship Edition.

Sports game fans, rejoice! Backyard Sports, the iconic video game series known for making kid-friendly sports games, is back.
In a press release, Playground Productions, the company currently holding the rights to the Backyard Sports IP, confirmed it was reviving the series, noting that the franchise is "slated to return in the coming months." Playground Productions also provided the first teaser trailer for Backyard Sports, featuring memorable characters like Pablo Sanchez and Stephanie Morgan.

Microsoft has announced the second wave of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in August 2024, which also includes access to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 open beta.
Atlas Fallen is perhaps the biggest full title of this wave as an open world action role-playing game set. YouTuber ShakeMistake uploads videos which combine fitness and gaming and through the Stepl app was (eventually) able to enjoy a nature walk through the world of Skyrim.

The developer of massive Steam hit Black Myth: Wukong has apologized for any tech or performance issues players have encountered since the game went on sale in the early hours of this morning.
Game Science took to Black Myth: Wukong’s Steam page to issue a statement promising patches aimed at these performance issues. In the statement, Game Science warned that “despite multiple internal full-process tests of Black Myth: Wukong, given the game's vast scale and the myriad of software and hardware environments, occasional serious issues may still arise.”

The action RPG, developed by Chinese studio Game Science, launched in the early hours of this morning and quickly shot to the top of Steam’s most-played games list with an incredible 1,443,570 peak concurrent players. Minecraft Realms have been struggling with downtime and other connectivity issues for almost a week now, and fans are taking notice.
Fans trying to access Realms have been reporting long loading times, connection errors, and other problems since at least August 13. It appears to have started around the release of Minecraft update 1.21.20, which included updates to Realms invite links as well as various bug fixes.
On August 15, Mojang tweeted that the Realms team was working "around the clock" to resolve the Bedrock Realms service issues. It subsequently reported that service had been restored, but connectivity issues continued throughout the weekend.

Baldur's Gate 3 is getting a big bad new ending for the Dark Urge playthrough in September and developer Larian Studios has shared a first look at its cinematic.
In a post on X/Twitter, the studio showed (spoilers ahead) what appears to be the Dark Urge protagonist sacrificing their beloved companions Shadowheart, Lae'zel, and Wyll, using mind control to force them to jump to their deaths.

There are few ideas more worthy of a sequel than that which powered Splitgate. Cribbing Aperture Science’s portal tech and loading it into a competitive arena shooter? I mean, c’mon – who the heck wouldn’t want to play that?! But while the first stab at this awesome concept proved too much of a rough draft to keep players’ fickle attentions for long, Splitgate 2 hopes to build on what worked by making modest improvements to the formula. Keighley tweeted a live action video called The Beast, which depicts a woman desperately trying to escape from a terrifying beast in a wooded area. Alongside the tease is the promise of more information at ONL, which kicks off at 11am PT / 2pm ET tomorrow, August 20.

The PlayStation 5 and PC version of Until Dawn reportedly costs $59.99 and fans are once again debating what a good price for remakes is.
The $60 price tag hasn't been confirmed officially but comes from Dealabs' billbil-kun, one of the most reputable leakers who for the past several years has announced each month's PlayStation Plus games before PlayStation itself. This price is therefore likely.

A Ubisoft blog post revealed the Minimum, Recommended, Enthusiast, and Ultra settings for the game alongside a 65GB SSD storage requirement.
