As Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 players dig into the recently released game-changing Patch 5 update, they’ve uncovered something developer Saber Interactive appears to have accidentally added early.
Redditor MrBossman4411 noticed a Thousand Sons icon in the Heraldry Editor, which points to a so far unannounced Research Centre. The Thousand Sons are one of the enemy factions in Space Marine 2, a Space Marine Traitor Legion so far unplayable in the game itself.

Polish developer People Can Fly, the studio best-known for Outriders and Gears of War Judgment, is suspending or scaling back more projects amid what CEO Sebastian Wojciechowski is calling "external market pressures."
In a statement released on X/Twitter, Wojciechowski announced that People Can Fly is suspending Project Victoria, scaling down Project Bifrost, and restructuring internal teams. Developed in partnership with support developer Virtuous, 2.2 is called ‘Express Yourself,’ with the idea that players can express themselves more in-game. The update launches today, December 10.

Update 1.0.12.16581 adds a new boss rush mode called Challenge, which can be found at any Keeper’s Shrine after beating the game at least once. Two types of challenge are available: Return of Rivals and Gauntlet of Legends.
Return of Rivals lets players challenge a defeated boss to a duel, choosing from three levels of difficulty. Gauntlet of Legends lets players fight against multiple opponents in succession, using customized curses to tailor the difficulty. The main target of developer NetEase’s patch notes, below, is a fix for spots on the edge of the map that would cause characters to become stuck.
This was a particular problem on the Hydra Charteris Base: Hell's Heaven and Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface maps, where special collisions on the edges would cause the player's character to become stuck or clip through and enter “strange areas” (no relation to Doctor Strange). Changes are coming to action role-playing game Path of Exile 2 thick and fast following its huge Early Access launch, with a new hotfix out now.
In a post on the Path of Exile forum, developer Grinding Gear Games published a list of issues it felt needed to be “urgently addressed,” with other less urgent issues to be tackled later on. Chief among them is the feeling that Path of Exile 2 isn’t rewarding enough, something GGG acknowledged is a problem.
“One of the major problems that players have been experiencing is feeling that the game is not rewarding enough,” it said. “This is an area that we have to be very careful when adjusting because it's very hard to reduce drops if we increase them by too much.”

Rocksteady is pulling the plug on new content for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League after Season 4, with the developer announcing its plans to end support for the troubled online game in January 2025.
Rocksteady revealed the news in an official blog detailing Suicide Squad's final season, which will include the release of an offline mode and a new playable character in Deathstroke.
