A leaked internal video has revealed Sony is experimenting with AI-powered PlayStation characters.
The Verge reported on the emergence of an internal video allegedly created by PlayStation Studios' advanced technology group that uses Aloy from the Horizon games to demonstrate AI-powered game characters.
The video was subsequently pulled from YouTube following a copyright claim from Muso, an internet enforcement company The Verge said lists Sony Interactive Entertainment as a client. This suggests the video is legitimate. IGN has asked Sony for comment.

Most people associate Monster Hunter with actually hunting monsters, but capturing is an important piece of the pie, too. As Monster Hunter Wilds players have discovered, capturing a monster and hanging around long enough can result in a funny little interaction playing out.
As shown by Reddit user RDGtheGreat over on the r/MonsterHunter subreddit, hanging around a captured monster long enough will let you catch a little behind-the-scenes magic. Namely, the monster getting up and leaving.

Activision has confirmed the release date for the return of original Verdansk map to Call of Duty: Warzone.
Verdansk returns to the battle royale on April 3 alongside Season 3, Activision said alongside the following tease: “Get ready for the drop zones and familiar terrain that players loved, alongside new updates to explore.”

Forza Horizon 5 on PlayStation 5 requires a Microsoft account, the company has confirmed.
Confirmation comes from a FAQ posted to the Forza support website: “Yes, in addition to a PSN account you’ll need to link to a Microsoft account in order to play Forza Horizon 5 on PS5. This process begins the first time you start up the game on your console.”
This policy is in keeping with other Xbox games released on Sony’s console, including Minecraft, Grounded, and Sea of Thieves.

Activision has announced a release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone's upcoming Season 3, but it's a little later than players were expecting.
As shown in the post above, Season 3 will drop on April 3, with more details expected to be shared about the season next week. This is a bit later than players expected to see the season begin, however, as the countdown on the current Battle Pass was suggesting a reset on March 20.
Players have high hopes for season 3. Activision has been teasing the return of the beloved Verdansk map for some time now, and has set expectations for its arrival sometime this spring. Just yesterday, a pop-up in the Call of Duty shop suggested "The Verdansk Collection" would arrive on March 10...
Monster Hunter Wilds has not only surpassed eight million units sold in just three days, but it has also become the fastest Capcom game ever to reach this milestone.
As reported by Capcom, Monster Hunter Wilds is off to an extremely strong start that is well above the five million copies 2018's Monster Hunter World shipped in 2018 and the four million Monster Hunter Rise shipped in 2021.
These numbers shouldn't come as too much of a surprise as Monster Hunter Wilds rocketed above one million Steam concurrents over its opening weekend and overtook Cyberpunk 2077 to become the 7th most-played game ever. Wilds also helped Steam cross 40 million concurrent players for the first time.
