After more than a decade in the shadows, the Ninja Gaiden series returns with not one but three releases this year: the surprise remaster of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black that’s already out, this fall’s Ninja Gaiden 4, and in between, the 2D action platformer that returns the series to its roots, Ninja Gaiden Ragebound. While the mere existence of this trio is a pleasant surprise, Ragebound is perhaps the biggest shock, as the series hasn’t been two-dimensional since the early ‘90s. It’s also being delivered by a developer (The Game Kitchen) and publisher (Dotemu) who are new to Ninja Gaiden. They aren’t new to pixel art or retro throwbacks, though, and Ragebound appears to be in good hands that have real love for the franchise.

Dune: Awakening, the upcoming open world survival MMO inspired by Frank Herbert's beloved sci-fi novels and Denis Villeneuve's films, has been delayed to June 10, 2025.
Funcom shared the news while also confirming that those who wish to get a head start will be able to jump into the game on June 5 if they purchase either the Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Edition.
As for why the game was delayed, Funcom said, following feedback from its ongoing Persistent Closed Beta, the decision was made so the team has "a bit more time to cook." This will also let them implement some of the changes they've discovered and that have been requested during this beta phase.

The Game Collection has been an occasional good source of decent deals for some time now, but the retailer has especially come through today with making Elden Ring available for just £21.95 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PC.
That's a huge maximum price drop of £18 from the previous £39.95 price of the current-gen versions. Among the other retailers selling physical copies of FromSoftware's critically acclaimed and best-selling RPG, that's the best price you can get by far.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 PC players are flooding Reddit, the official EA forums, and now also IGN's tipline with complaints that the game's various online modes, especially Galactic Assault, have been rendered "completely unplayable" due to hackers.
According to post after post after post on Reddit and the EA official forums, the ongoing issue is being caused by a hack that prevents PC players in online 40-player modes (especially Galactic Assault, but more recently also Supremacy) from spawning in, rendering matches entirely unplayable.
