Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey are simply terrific as they navigate some of the story’s most memorable scenes, all of which sideline action in favour of heated, nuanced conversation. Beautifully shot and expertly written, it’s a standout episode – that slightly rushed ending aside -- delivers exactly what’s needed at this part of Joel and Ellie’s journey."
