Soulslikes Crossover in Lies of P’s Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC

Lies of P publisher Neowiz has announced DLC based on Team Ninja’s fellow action role-playing game Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

In a crossover of recent popular Soulslikes, Lies of P's free Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC adds new weapons and armour for all players on February 14. The weapon is the Azure Dragon Crescent Glaive and the armour is the Armor of the Honorable and Bandana of the Honorable costume.

The Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition, out now, features a collection of collaboration DLC, including two featured weapons from Lies of P that were introduced in September 2023.

Last year, Neowiz teased Lies of P’s first DLC and confirmed plans to release a sequel. Lies of P sold one million copies in less than a month after developer Round8 Studio’s well-received Soulslike launched on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PC via Steam, and Mac via the Mac App Store on September 18. It reimagines the classic fairy tale of Pinocchio with Bloodborne style gameplay.

IGN’s Lies of P review returned an 8/10: “Lies of P might not branch out particularly far from its soulslike inspiration, but it plays the part extremely well,” we said. Lies of P has a “very positive” user review rating on Steam too.

IGN’s Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty review also returned an 8/10. We said: “Familiar issues with storytelling and loot aside, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is another great entry in Team Ninja's growing collection of action RPGs that features some of the best combat in the soulslike genre, even though those battles start to lose their tension due to a distinct lack of enemy variety to fill out the 20+ hour runtime.”
