Minecraft 1.9 Map Reset

Hey guys,



As you know, Minecraft 1.8 has been officially "leaked". Notch and Jeb are encouraging people to test it for bugs etc. However, after reading some tweets from Jeb, I have found out that Minecraft 1.9 (Part 2 of Adventure Update) will require another map reset.



Jeb: "@davecricket @notch You need to generate new areas. As it looks now, beta 1.9 will also require new generation"



So what will this mean for Aggression? Will we reset after 1.8 or wait until 1.9?



I find 2 resets in a short period of time outrageous.

We'll regen areas that haven't been built on, that will use the new map gen.

hmm what about a second world (via stargate?) into another world which is 1.8?

Well if 1.9 comes out a week or so after 1.8, why not just set up a temp map to derp around on? But if it's like a month or so later, we should do what noodle suggested.
