Hades, 2020 Game Award winner for Best Action Game, finally has a release date for Apple devices via Netflix Games. According to Netflix, the Greek mythology action-roguelike is set to release on March 19 and is available for pre-registration today. Hades, developed by Supergiant Games, follows Zagreus the son of Hades (the God) as he battles his way out of the hellscape of Hades (the place) to meet his estranged mother, Persephone. As is the case with most roguelike games, Zagreus engages in fast-paced action, dies, and washes down the River Styx, perilous trek out of Hades again. Hades however, spices things up by drip feeding some tantalizing story beats in between runs and having Zagreus's well-off family members — like the god of love Aphrodite and the god of wine Dionysus — gift him new abilities to aid him in his journey.
