Final Fantasy XIV's New Adventurer Plates Are Already a Huge Hit

Almost as soon as <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/final-fantasy-14-6-1-endwalker-patch-notes" target="_blank">patch 6.1</a> went live on April 12, Final Fantasy XIV players around the world took to Twitter to show off their customized player cards, complete with photo frames of their characters, their playstyle and weapons, and a simple slogan.</p><p></p><p>Delving into the Final Fantasy XIV subreddit provides a bounty of customized Adventurer Plates. We can see player photos adorned with the likes of very confused Lalafells, a reference to an ancient anime meme, and even a nod to American Psycho at one point.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Just below is a brilliant example of the sorts of the eclectic collection of Adventurer Cards you’ll be greeted with when playing Final Fantasy XIV’s PvP modes. Sure, you might get five or so completely normal photos of player characters, kitted out in their best gear. Or you could simply get various players being slightly horny.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>You can be sure the Final Fantasy XIV player base will only find increasingly creative ways of displaying their player characters over the coming weeks and months.
