Deathloop Gets Nvidia Reflex to Improve Latency

Nvidia Reflex was released last year, and <a href="https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/technologies/reflex/supported-products/" target="_blank">more than 20 games</a> currently support the software tech, including <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/fortnite" target="_blank">Fortnite</a>, <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/destiny-2" target="_blank">Destiny 2</a>, <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/splitgate" target="_blank">Splitgate</a>, and the soon-to-be-released <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/battlefield-2042" target="_blank">Battlefield 2042</a>.</p><p></p><p></p><p>An interesting thing to note is that Nvidia Reflex is commonly implemented in competitive games. While Deathloop is not a competitive game like others on the list, the game does include <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/deathloops-invasion-pvp-mode-can-be-played-like-a-co-op-game" target="_blank">an invasion mechanic</a>. In this PvP multiplayer feature, players have the option to have their session invaded by another player controlling Juliana or join another session controlling the character. But, Nvidia also notes that the software tech will also benefit players that are playing the single-player mode, as you can disable human-controlled invasions.</p><p></p><p>While Relfex support is now available, Deathloop does not support Nvidia DLSS. <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/deathloop-pc-specs-revealed-amd-fidelity-fx-super-resolution-support-confirmed" target="_blank">The game does support FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR)</a>, though, AMD's supersampling tech <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/amd-fidelity-fx-super-resolution-nvidia-dlss-competitor-release-date" target="_blank">released last June</a>.</p><p></p><p>Ahead of Deathloop's release last week, the game was met with critical acclaim, including <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/ign/ign.com/articles/deathloop-review" target="_blank">IGN's 10/10 review score</a>.
