Thank your own personal deity—possibly The King of All Cosmos—it's Friday! In case you haven't heard the word, the review embargo for the new Prince of Persia is up, and it's quite good. I had my limits tested in a playthrough on Immortal Difficulty and would heartily recommend it to anybody out for a (2.5D) Soulslike challenge.


In retro news, we're celebrating the birthdays of two underloved gems. Capcom's Lost Planet turns 17 today and is still a blast in four-player co-op via Xbox Live. It's also the big eight for Assassin's Creed Chronicles India, the midpoint entry in a 2.5D sub-series trilogy that plays not unlike Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
