CDPR Confirms Multiplayer Witcher Project Is Restarted, Not Canceled

"At the same time, we need to be ready to reevaluate our original concepts, even if the development work is already underway."</p><p></p><p></p><p>Earlier this month, the developer shared an announcement from investors, noting that it was <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/witcher-game-from-the-molasses-flood-being-re-evaluated-by-cd-projekt-red" target="_blank">taking an impairment charge on Project Sirius</a>. Kiciński noted that while it was "a tough decision to make," the company felt it was the right choice. "Our intention was to cut costs early and give ourselves time for reassessment. We don't want to carry on with projects that we are not aligned with.
