Ark: Survival Ascended Sells Over 600,000 on Steam in Two Weeks

Ark: Survival Ascended’s publisher has declared its launch successful after the dinosaur survival game sold over 600,000 copies on Steam in the two weeks following launch. Snail, Inc., owner of developer Studio Wildcard, said Arc: Survival Ascended’s Steam launch “is only the beginning of the journey ahead”. The game is set to launch on Xbox and PlayStation later in November, although fans are sceptical after a number of delays to previously announced release windows. Bluey's world domination continues as Microsoft has now created a truly unique Xbox Series X console themed after the beloved animated series. Baldur’s Gate 3 developer Larian has released Hotfix #11, which addresses several bugs, visual issues, and blockers and takes the phenomenally successful Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game up to v4.1.1.3956130. Dragon’s Dogma 2 Release Date Reportedly Revealed by Ratings Board

Hot on the heels of Capcom’s announcement of a Dragon’s Dogma 2 showcase stream set for November 28, we have what looks like a leak of the game’s release date. European video game ratings board PEGI listed Dragon’s Dogma 2 with a release date of March 22, 2024 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. That release date makes sense in the context of Capcom’s current financial year, which ends March 31, 2024. Mortal Kombat 1 Modder Unlocks Playable Kameos, Sort Of

Mortal Kombat 1’s Kameo system features support characters who you can call in to perform special attacks in a limited fashion. Some of the Kameo characters are just that, and are not part of the roster of playable characters. But that hasn’t stopped one modder from working to make them playable. That modder is ermaccer, who published an impressive proof of concept video showcasing early work done to make currently Kameo-exclusive characters Jax, Sonya, Sareena, and Stryker all playable. Krafton, the studio behind battle royale PUBG, is trying something different: a Sims competitor built in Unreal Engine 5. Krafton showed off the game during G-STAR 2023, an international gaming event in Busan, South Korea. The video, below, shows off an impressive-looking life simulation game with realistic graphics. Lords of the Fallen Update v1.1.326 Includes 'Complete Overhaul to All Bosses'

Lords of the Fallen update v1.1.326 is now available and includes a "complete overhaul to all bosses" and much more. Developer Hexworks revealed the changes in a Reddit post, saying it's "delighted to share with you the next big optimization update, which also marks the start of our ongoing PvP/PvE balancing split, as well as the much requested improvements to the lock-on system and boss difficulty increases." The boss overhaul comes as a result of player feedback and internal findings that many bosses in the game, which come at the core of Lords of the Fallen's Souls-like gameplay, "simply weren't posing enough of a challenge". Fortnite Community Slams 'Worst Update' Over New Age Restrictions on Cosmetics

Over the past few weeks, fans have praised Fortnite's OG update, which brought the game's original map back after several years. Now, however, the Fortnite community is up in arms once again after the game's latest feature was announced. Redfall Update 3 Adds New Weapon and Performance Improvements, but No Offline Mode

Redfall's next game update is here, but if you were hoping that this new patch would roll out the option to play offline, you would be disappointed. Redfall publisher Bethesda Softworks revealed all the changes in a new blog post. The biggest one is the addition of the Basilisk, a new sniper rifle that "charges the first bullet in a full magazine with UV power that can petrify Vampires," but it does not work on enemies that are immune to petrification or were recently petrified, according to Bethesda.
