Star Wars Outlaws Season Pass Roadmap Revealed Along With Two Story Packs

Star Wars Outlaws is out later this month, and Ubisoft has revealed the road map for those who buy the season pass. In a blog post, Ubisoft confirmed that the Star Wars Outlaws season pass will include content divided into three release windows. On launch day, season pass owners will gain access to a character pack and the previously confirmed Jabba's Gambit exclusive mission. Star Wars Outlaws' season pass previously received controversy earlier this year when Ubisoft revealed that it was locking the Jabba above's Gambit mission behind the Season Pass. Elden Ring Players Find Wild Exploit to Kill Rellana, The Twin Moon Knight From Outside Her Arena

Elden Ring players have discovered a risk free way of instantly defeating one of Shadow of the Erdtree’s main bosses, Rellana, the Twin Moon Knight. The exploit works without ever setting foot in her arena, by travelling to the Scadu Altus area before visiting the legacy dungeon Castle Ensis. Spotted by X/Twitter user Ziostorm, players can defeat Rellana by simply casting long range spells while standing in contact with the boss chamber’s rear fog gate. “Turns out, you can cheese Rellana by going to the rear fog wall by Highroad Cross and using Flame of the Fell God,” they wrote, referring to an Incantation which shoots a ball of fire. “It will travel into her arena and explode.” Though perhaps not the way FromSoftware intended...

Volgarr the Viking 2 Review

The early 2010s were an incredible time to be a fan of indie games, with classics like Limbo, Bastion, and Super Meat Boy paving the way for others to follow. One of my favorites from that period was the original Volgarr the Viking – it’s a 2D platformer that looks and plays like a 16-bit Sega Genesis game, but one informed by the ways in which the genre had evolved since the 90s. It was brutally difficult, but always fair, and that careful balance made it incredibly satisfying to overcome its challenges. Like a Dragon Fans Buzz as Sega Trademarks Yakuza Wars

Like a Dragon fans have grown excited after series publisher Sega filed a trademark for something called Yakuza Wars. The trademark was filed in Japan on July 26, 2024 but only made public today, August 5, as spotted by X/Twitter user Wario64. Like a Dragon developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is revealing its next game sometime between September 26 and September 29 at Tokyo Game Show, with many fans now believing Yakuza Wars to be it. Xbox has announced that it is delaying Avowed from later in 2024 to February 18, 2025, to "give players' backlogs some breathing room." Bungie Is Reportedly Not Working on Destiny 3, Will Focus on Smaller Destiny 2 Updates That May Be Free

Valorant Is Now Officially Available on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 After Open Beta Period

Following a quick Open Beta period, Riot Games has surprised fans by officially launching Valorant on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Valorant Console is now available to players in the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, and Brazil and promises to bring the "same uncompromising, competitive experience that we've provided PC players for years: a precise, team-based, tactical shooter." Former Bungie Worker Claims Studio Faced Insolvency Without Sony Acquisition - Report

Bungie misrepresented its finances and had significantly overextended itself when Sony acquired the studio for $3.6 billion in 2022, former workers claimed in a new Game File report published in the wake of Wednesday's layoffs. When I booted up Spectre Divide for the first time, I fully expected to play yet another team-based competitive shooter that would probably be fine but likely wouldn’t elevate above that. SteamWorld Heist 2 Review

It’s kind of an odd shift for a sequel to go from an outer space setting to a nautical one, but SteamWorld games have never shied away from being kind of odd. In fact, it’s their whole thing. There are direct connections between the silly swashbuckling story of SteamWorld Heist 2 and the original from 2015, but those take a while to show up – instead, much of Heist 2 feels completely separate as it gives you control of a submarine and a crew full of goofy robots in a colorfully cartoony ocean.
