Helldivers 2 looks set for an unlikely Halo crossover after a new trailer teased the arrival of the ODST.
The hugely successful third-person shooter launches on Xbox Series X and S on August 26 as the first Sony-published game on Microsoft’s console. The trailer, below, ends with what looks like the arrival of an ODST on the battlefield, alongside the iconic music from the game.

Developer Remedy believes the release of its first self-published game and Control spin-off, FBC: Firebreak, "succeeded technically," but acknowledged it "underperformed" on Steam, admitting that "commercially, we were unsatisfied."

Fergusson confirmed the news on his personal Twitter/X account:
"After five years of driving the Diablo franchise forward with four big launches, it's time for me to step away from Blizzard/Microsoft, sword in hand, and see what's next," Fergusson wrote. Tencent has updated its Light of Motiram Steam page just days after Sony filed a lawsuit alleging the upcoming game was a "slavish clone" of Horizon.
The complaint, filed in a California court at the end of July, outlined numerous similarities, comparing various marketing screenshots from both games, as well as their descriptions.
