Witchfire Release Date Revealed at Summer Game Fest

It would not be until 2022, at last year's Summer Games Fest, that the developers would share an update on Witchfire, where we got <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/witchfire-new-footage-early-access" target="_blank">some new gameplay footage and a "coming soon" release window</a>. However, The Astronauts announced in a blog post in October of last year that the game was shifting to an open world, and as a result, the game <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/witchfire-is-now-open-world-delayed-to-2023-as-a-result" target="_blank">was delayed into 2023</a>.</p><p></p><p></p><p><em>Taylor is a Reporter at IGN.
