It appears that Warner Bros. is teasing its upcoming Super Smash Bros. style fighting game, which leaked a few weeks ago. Reportedly called 'Warner Bros Multiversus', the game will apparently feature characters from across many Warner Bros. shows and movies. In a move that seems to hint at this, the official Twitter accounts for Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry have posted images with their characters missing from the scene, as if transported away to another universe. Another universe where they will presumably beat each other up. Each tweet also tags the WB Games Twitter account, further establishing the link between the characters and a video game. Both Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry were listed in the original leak, and so these teases match up with what we knew previously. Other expected characters include Steven Universe, Finn and Jake, Batman, Wonder Woman, and even Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings, so keep your eye on their respective social media accounts for further possible teases. This apparent WB fighter comes quickly on the tail of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, which in a similar fashion brings together characters from numerous shows for a Super Smash Bros.-like brawl. With content for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate now ended with the release of Sora, there's a gap in the market for another fighter to hold people's attention. But between Warner Bros. and Nickelodeon cartoons, who will come out on top? [I]Matt Purslow is IGN's UK News and Entertainment Writer.
