So 1.8 out is officially out now so what does everyone think? Any bugs you've seen? Whats your favorite thing about the update? Got good tips for surviving with the new food bar? What can be improved? Feel free to share 🙂 I want to see what everyone else has to think about it.

Can anyone tell me what this is, i turn one way and it is normal, then dark. Its annoying.

Mark since 1.8 has just released there are quiet a few bugs. I have noticed in areas around the map that there are random dark patches about 2x2 blocks. By hitting on of the blocks its lights up. So as you might have noticed yourself through your skin, there are some bugs that need to be fixed with the lighting. You have to remember Notch did change how lighting is done especially with torches. Give it a week or so if the problem does not solve itself the either get a new skin or ignore it. Good luck.

Meh, I was really looking forward to going through trapped strongholds full of semi-sentient NPCs. But alas, I must wait until 1.9 for any NPCs.
