As its gameplay trailer demonstrates, players will need to work together if they want to survive the Lovecraftian nightmares that lie waiting in The Mound.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Nacon and ACE <a href="https://www.ign.com/videos/the-mound-omen-of-cthulhu-official-reveal-trailer-nacon-connect-2025" target="_blank"><u>announced</u></a> The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu during the March Nacon Connect, revealing the project as a first-person experience set in a jungle with the capacity to twist the minds of any who enters. Players are given weapons and tools to make each trek easier, but the real pull is the mind games that will have friends turning against each other.</p><p></p><p>“The Mound is inspired by the stories of H.P. Lovecraft with their oppressive and unpredictable atmospheres,” an official description says. “Here, the supernatural forces don't just hunt you down: they distort your perception of every situation to throw you off balance.
