This year's finalists include <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/elden-ring" target="_blank">Elden Ring</a>, <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/god-of-war-ragnarok" target="_blank">God of War: Ragnarok</a>, <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/genshin-impact-review" target="_blank">Genshin Impact</a>, <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/sonic-frontiers" target="_blank">Sonic Frontiers</a>, and <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/stray" target="_blank">Stray</a>.</p><p></p><p></p><p>At the time of writing - with little over a day before polls close - Genshin Impact holds a commanding lead over its rivals with 53% of the vote, while Sonic Frontiers maintains a comfortable second with 33%. Elden Ring meanwhile is supported by a mere 8% of the voting audience, while Ragnarok - which launched just last month to critical acclaim - is sitting on 5%. Stray meanwhile has a mere 1% of the vote.</p><p></p><p><a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/how-to-watch-the-game-awards-2022" target="_blank">IGN will be streaming The Game Awards live</a> when it kicks off on Thursday, December 8 at 4:30pm Pacific / 7:30pm Eastern.
