The First Descendant Release Date Revealed, Unreal Engine 5 Looter Shooter Out in July - SGF 2024

Our <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/the-first-descendant-beta-preview-good-intentions-middling-execution" target="_blank">impressions were mixed when we tried it last year</a>, writing, "What’s here is enjoyable enough, just nothing especially compelling."</p><p></p><p></p><p>The First Descendant faces strong competition, with Warframe and Destiny 2 leading the way.
