Jun Kazama is back. Jin Kazama's mother, who seemingly died way back in Tekken 2, will return in Tekken 8 as a playable character, tonight's Game Awards trailer revealed. The new trailer includes a closer look at Tekken 8's gameplay than the original teaser trailer, which served as a tech demo of sorts. In addition to showing off some of the combat, the trailer reveals the new iterations of King, Paul, Lars, Marshall Law, and Jack-8. It will star Jin Kazama as he battles Kazuya Mishima and attempts to end their conflict once and for all. In the meantime, there are tons of other Game Awards announcements, which you can read about in our full recap. Tekken 8 does not yet have a release date. Kat Bailey is a Senior News Editor at IGN as well as co-host of Nintendo Voice Chat. Have a tip? Send her a DM at @the_katbot. Continue reading...
