Summer Game Fest 2025 has arrived and revealed an exciting glimpse into the future of video games. The roughly two-hour show had many highlights, including the big reveal of Resident Evil Requiem, the news that Lies of P: Overture is out now, and so much more.

Resident Evil 9 Officially Revealed as Resident Evil Requiem at Summer Game Fest 2025
Capcom has finally revealed Resident Evil 9... and it's called Resident Evil Requiem. This next entry in the beloved horror franchise is set to be released on February 27, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC and has been described as a shift in the series.
While we'll have to wait a bit longer to learn exactly what that means, Capcom did tease this game will take on a new tone and feel, with "cinematic high stakes action."
Lies of P: Overture Is Available Today

Dying Light: The Beast Release Date Set for August With Gameplay Trailer
Techland has not only given us a new look at Dying Light: The Beast, but it has confirmed that it will be out on August 22, 2025. Dying Light: The Beast is a standalone story that puts players back in the shoes of Kyle Crane following his absence in the 2022 sequel.

Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver Announced at Summer Game Fest
Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver was finally revealed at Summer Game Fest and gave us our first look at the upcoming co-op action RPG from Brass Lion Entertainment. Up to four players can team up to take on the titular Deceiver and save their home, Shaolin.
The game meshes Afro-surrealism and anime and will feature a soundtrack filled with both classic Wu-Tang songs and new music from DJ Just Blaze.

Square Enix has officially revealed Killer Inn, a new team-based social deduction gamme that sees players dropped into a big mansion together. It's not quite a pleasant party, however, as the 'Wolves' team must murder all of the 'Lambs.'
The twist is that the lambs don't know who their teammates are and need to discover who is trying to murder them and who is their friend.
