Over this time, it has been welcoming community feedback on its feature ideas, key game systems, and historical research, but "now the time has come to reveal Ceasar to the world."</p><p></p><p><a href="https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/developer-diary/tinto-talks-61-30th-of-april-2025.1738380/page-22" target="_blank"><u>The latest Tinto Talks</u></a> — named after the studio that's developing it, Barcelona-based Studio Tinto — talked about the mechanics of Protestant religions and the "final situation involving all Western Christian confessions, the War of Religions," coming to its "entirely super-top-secret game with the codename Project Caesar."</p><p></p><p>That, plus the clue that <a href="https://www.youtube.com/live/YaZcN-eVta8" target="_blank"><u>the announcement video</u></a> will premier on the official <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/europa-universalis-iv" target="_blank">Europa Universalis</a> YouTube channel, suggests the mysterious project may be a new addition to that series… but nothing's certain right now.</p><p></p><p>That hasn't stopped fans speculating, though, with many coming to the same conclusion that it's probably connected to Europa Universalis, too.</p><p></p><p></p><p>"Dev Diaries haven't called it EU5 but everything we have been teased thus far heavily implies it," <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/paradoxplaza/comments/1kd0nw4/comment/mq735m1/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button" target="_blank"><u>reminded</u></a> one player on Reddit.
